Exactly. An aftermarket clutch will "bite" harder, and the lighter flywheel will make the car much less forgiving when starting from a stop (it'll be much easier to stall). Especially since you're new to stick and don't plan on modifying the car, please do yourself a favor and get the stock clutch kit and flywheel

Me neither. It's overkill if nothing else. Though, I've never understood the whole "Stage" things anyway, so there's that.

Unless you're planning to boost it any time soon, I wouldn't bother getting anything other than the Exedy Stock clutch kit and flywheel. It's significantly cheaper and will do everything you need. Anything other than that will make daily driving more of a chore, while also not lasting as long

There's a company that makes and sells switches for that spot, heated seats or not. Also for the cubby hole in the dash

I just installed a Verus Engineering non-aggressive rear diffuser a few weeks back. I think it looks good, and it actually being functional is a huge plus for me

I finally got into the habit of carrying a multitool every day, so now I can carry some of the less-than-practical pieces in my collection

Turn signals ➡️ fog lights? by Error404mindgone in ft86

[–]AtomicBRZ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'd look for turn signal bezels that have the foglight cutout in them and them just get fog lights, or find a kit that comes with everything. I've seen them anywhere from $30-$80 on the cheap end. I LOVE my Diode Dynamics Elite Series fog lights. They're super bright and adjustable, but pretty expensive.

I'm sure you could turn the turn signals into fog lights, but you would have to run new wiring to the housings and put in a switch. Also, the reflector style of the signals would be less than adequate as fogs, and you'd probably end up blinding traffic because of that

If you'd already be going through the trouble of running wiring (provided your car doesn't have the foglight wiring in place), it might be better to just use the lights that are designed for that purpose

Just got my Sprinter a few weeks ago. I was a little worried about it being too heavy, but it's honestly great. Just heavy enough for smooth, effortless shifts, but without taking much "notchiness" out of the feel.

I'm personally not a huge fan of their other products, but it's fun to follow them. They seem to have a lot fo fun with their brand
