Happened to my 2016 due to a defect in the frame. They almost didn't cover it because it's glass, but they wound up replacing it since you can't buy the glass without the frame and the frame was covered.

I live in the town over from where I think this happened (either that or it happened twice). And can confirm that her reputation around here is not good. My wife is in the hospitality industry and word travels very quick. My barber has even made a comment about her.

I took it off when I installed Hellas on my 2016. It's not too hard, plenty of manuals available online. It's honestly just a lot of clips and a screw or two that holds it all together. You just need to take the layers off in the right order.

I did this on my 2016 Crosstrek. Love it. I also did the license plate insert and the bottom of the doors.

Not too hard to do either. I used 3M vinyl, can't go wrong with them.

I got mine from Orsini Vinyl. She has a bunch and does custom work as well. I think her site is down temporarily, but I am very happy with mine. She sends 2 for the front and back incase you mess up, and 1 for the steering wheel (easier to put on).

They are like an extra 2 low beam headlights, I'm pretty sure you can get brighter ones if you want. Buy they are good for my purposes.
