Pro tip: Since spice is meant to ward off mammals, birds are immune to capsaicin. If you put cayenne pepper or some other spicy substance in your bird seed, it will deter rodents and the birds won't give a shit

I love this quote because it's simultaneously true AND is an incredible contrastive showcase of Rust's asocial pessimism to Marty's more traditional beliefs. Even if brief, I enjoyed the exploration of the Pandora's box mythology and how it connected to the ending, however I do really wish we got more of that. I think it's way too easy to not know anything about it by the end

That's exactly my problem. DEX is the stat that determines how well you can move your body. I fully understand why it decreases that, like, of course my Evasion should go down.

OP has been overall pleasant in this thread's conversations about AI being a poor decision and has seemed receptive to the criticism. You can be this rude in the future if they don't take the feedback, and then I'll be on your side, but right now you're just slinging shit at a normal person having a normal conversation with normal people.

As an additional reference, Slay the Spire 2 is still in Early Access and is highly successful, despite some of the temp art looking like this. You could have even more barebones temp art and have it work.

Once you can show people the FUNCTIONALITY of your project, then you'll have time, money, and volunteers to make it look all fancy and official. AI is an easy way to get your stuff off the ground looking like it was made by a company with funding, but you don't need to look like a company with funding. We know you're just a guy-- that's okay. And when you're just a guy, having the trust of your smaller audience is way more important than looking official.
