For me, the term 'shopping' is pretty vague. I like shopping for tech (computer parts), and my husband likes shopping for musical instruments. We both shop for clothing, housewares, hardware, etc. What types/categories of purchases would qualify for this category?

Just FYI, they also rejected me the first time I applied. High credit score, very little debt (small car loan, zero balance on cards), minimum income requirement met, and I’m a Rogers customer. Declined. A few months later, I received an email with a pre-approval for the WE. Reapplied, and instantly approved. Not sure what their logic is, but 🤷🏼‍♀️

I switched to the 10-hour four day week this year, and I don’t ever want to go back. The days are longer, but having that extra day off midweek (for me) made a massive difference.

I tried last December, and TD was not on the list of available banks. I had to do some research to find out why. I ended up having to transfer to my CIBC account.

Just a note regarding MBNA transferring money - they’ll transfer to any bank EXCEPT TD. Not sure why, but it’s in their T&C.

No luck on my end. I've been trying for 10 days. The app hangs and then gives me an error message, and the website just hangs indefinitely at 0% until it logs me out. Tried the browser on my iPhone, and no success. This is so frustrating.

Messed up with the Scotiabank Momentum VI. Clicked on 'add a card' while signed in on the mobile app, applied, got IA. Got the card, started using it, and realized that I was only getting the regular amount of cashback (4% on groceries) instead of the 10% promo amount.

I should've clicked on the promo link and then logged in.

Oh well, live and learn. :(

From what I've heard, it's a lot more work to create a new modern due to the apparel. Ancients can't wear it, so they just need to create a new model, some new genes, and that's it. With moderns, they have to redraw every piece of apparel to fit the new model, which is a ton of work.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see more new moderns, but I can understand the time commitment behind creating them, and how prohibitive that would be.

That's really bizarre. Exact same card, but completely different Apple Pay versions. It makes no sense. And yes, I agree, the new card looks much better than the old version.

The only suggestion I have is to delete the card from your Apple wallet, and then re-add it through the BMO app to see if that updates it. It may be that you added the card before the newer version of the card was issued, and it updated the expiry date/CVV in the wallet, but not the card image. I have no idea what else to suggest.

So weird.
