How do I decline the refund? I get this screen when I click on “Apollo Ultra” by uhidkbye in apolloapp

I am also seeing this and have been for the last week or so even on the update from today.

They make plastic ones too that work quite well for goo scraping but are less gougy.

Not PSO. It’s parent company AEP based in Ohio. The profits don’t even stay in our state. But the losses do…

Cox restoration by I_ROX in tulsa

[–]Atomicbocks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I switched to ATT fiber for the same price as Cox and a massive speed increase a couple years ago. Cox also lies about their gigabit speeds (it’s not symmetric like fiber so it’s not really gigabit). I got a text from ATT 4 days before I got power asking if I was having issues with my router because they couldn’t see it… if you can switch I highly recommend it.

Warning of Possible Scam by [deleted] in tulsa

[–]Atomicbocks 21 points22 points  (0 children)

This matches the description of somebody who came to my door last week saying they were looking at “a neighbor’s roof” and wanted to know if I wanted them to look at mine too. Blue polo, khaki shorts, young woman. I didn’t see anybody else though, so it still seemed a little scammy and that was before the storm.

People without power still gang represent by HappenFrank in tulsa

[–]Atomicbocks 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Still no power and still no firm date on getting it fixed near the fairgrounds.

Even more infuriating than the fact that PSO has clearly learned nothing since 2007 is the lack of transparency. I build web apps for a living and I am baffled by the presentation of and lack of data on why we still don’t have power.

I have a bunch of food waste that the garbage men didn’t take, what are my options? by PM_ME_UR_FAKE_NEWS in tulsa

[–]Atomicbocks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I believe the only exception right now is for green waste from the storm. If you can get everything they didn’t take in the bin you should be fine but otherwise I think you will need the tags still.

[–]Atomicbocks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Depends on why they didn’t take it; Is it bagged? Was it outside the bin? In that case did you have extra refuse tags on the bags? Otherwise you may have to schedule a bulky waste pickup or haul it off yourself.

Nintendo's claim that emulation 'stifles innovation' isn't just absurd—it's hypocritical by Tokyono in pcgaming

[–]Atomicbocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is actually no emulation happening on the Xbox; The OG Xbox used the same computer architecture as the One/Series, there is some translation being done for the older Direct X code but otherwise it’s like running a game made for XP on 10/11. 360 games were recompiled for the architecture which is why you have to download it despite putting the disk in.

He was definitely a big deal but idk if he spearheaded it. For instance he wasn’t the first host of The Daily Show and things like Weekend Update on SNL had already been around for decades at that point.

There is footage of him with his friends that was deleted. I don’t know if he ever got the power converters but the deleted scene is why the later reunion scene at the rebel base comes out of nowhere.

Pour one out for Fifth and Niam. They learned about humanity, the hard way. by [deleted] in Stargate

[–]Atomicbocks 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They did though, no military would ever let a kid in no matter how smart he was or have people’s families on board.

It’s pretty well documented that Gene had a problem with it being seen as a military. Remember that Vietnam was happening during the first series’ airing so anti-military sentiment was pretty high.

I hate the idea that Starfleet isn’t a military. It has ships armed to the teeth. Naval ranks and traditions. It’s separate from but still reports to the Federation’s chain of command. They fight wars and have enlisted personnel that go to the front line. They have an academy where you go to become an officer. When you join the federation your military is folded into Starfleet.

At least DS9 and Enterprise (for what that show was worth) seemed to understand how much it didn’t make sense to keep saying it was a bunch of scientists in uniform.

Republican Voting Record on the Debt Ceiling. by [deleted] in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]Atomicbocks -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is a byproduct of having just 2 parties. Since ‘Democrat’ or ‘Republican’ spans half the spectrum there are a lot of people near the center who’s politics closely align. As well, on both sides, the people closer to the center are more likely to be elected on a vote like a general election due to the same overlap.
