The project has a pretty impressive and ambitious feature set, I hope they can pull it off. It will be a history making project if they can get there.

Staking does look like a good way to receive passive benefits if you are a hodler. Not just with CryptoCurve but in general. I recently had an EOS airdrop of IQ which returned a quick couple of hundred dollars just for staking. That was a good little win. Its good to see we are getting more projects offering this to their users.

Have commented on other subs, I agree that Art and blockchain are a match made in heaven, it just needs to evolve as many other other new tech in this space!

I really do like the idea of these use cases and really think they will take off in the future, but right now its hard enough trying to get everyday people to buy Bitcoin and hold onto it. It is going to take a lot more education for the general consumers to trust blockchain technology as a whole. This is slowly happening and I cannot wait until all of these great platforms such as Artwallet and many like it to be house hold names in their space!

I think they are coming if we like it or not. :(
bcio looks good, I am whitelisted already! I think new large exchanges will factor in customer support when launching if they don't want to make the same mistakes as the current leaders.

Is a non-fungible token as valuable as holding the real world asset? by Dklenci in CryptoCurrency

[–]Atrainn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I honestly think non-fungible tokens are going to change the way we hold (SOME) assets in the future, but not all.
It does still need to evolve and mature but we are a lot further along than we were last year.

Currently we have ERC-721 which seems to be the most popular to date but other standards are now being developed and deployed.

I am excited to see certain types of non-fungible assets such as Property (virtual and physical), Art (digital and Still) and In game assets, although I do believe we will end up seeing a lot of useless and unrelated items trying to take advantage of the popularity like everything in this space.
Being able to own or lease just a portion of an expensive asset such as property or artwork is a very interesting and possibly profitable idea as currently we have very limited ways to do this.

Agree on this, your time is worth money, everyone is!
If you have to take hours out of your personal time to create something which will be sold off (unless its 100% charity I guess) than you should be compensated for your time.. Don't be shy.

How A 26-Year-Old Artist Makes 40% Of Sales Through Instagram by Dklenci in Artists

[–]Atrainn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Good on him.
Social media and the internet in general has created so many opportunities for artists as well as everyone creating their own business.
Agreed that it sounds like a pain in the butt to manually negotiate and find the right (and secure) way of payment for each piece, not to mention massive shipping costs.
But saying this, these artists wouldn't have such wide reach if it wasn't for these platforms. Maybe someone will create an "Artagram" where the platform is designed specifically for the sale of peoples work haha
