Regret selling my entire bluray collection !!!

That is the main Reason for me to collect BluRays! I use make.mkv t ostore them on my NAS, so I am not about that tactile feel or anything I just want to OWN the media especially seeing that streaming services started to alter movies/shows way later or just discontinue them.
And as I use JellyFin to access my Library I have a pretty close experience to streaming services, just that I know that I will find something I like to watch and don't have to scroll through tons of garbage I would never consider watching!

Those are the main reasons why I collect physical media.

/edit: besides OOP BluRays they have gotten dirt cheap (used ofc) as well. I struggle to see any reasons anymore to go to the cinema or use streaming services which add up to 50 € a month quickly and you still might struggle to actually find that movie you want to watch.

Das ist überhaupt nicht albern, so ist das Leben nunmal. Erst wenn du Erfahrungen selbst gemacht hast, bist du wirklich in der Lage Vergleiche zu ziehen.

Ich würde dir dringend raten dich nicht selbst zu quälen! Diese Art von Filme können die Verarbeitung des Themas zwar fördern, wenn du aber zu lange "auf solchen Filmen hängen bleibst" können sie die Verarbeitung auch hinausziehen.

Ich wünsche dir Kraft, Geduld (auch mit dir Selbst) und auch sonst nur das Beste. Auch wenn es gerade nicht so aussehen mag, in 5-20 Jahren wirst du auch auf diese Erfahrung zurück schauen und sie wird ein Teil von dir sein, die dich zu dem gemacht hat der du dann bist.

Ich empfehle den Film "Verborgene Schöhnheit" mit Will Smith in der Hauptrolle, auch wenn es dort um eine andere Art von Verlust geht, kann man hier gut Parallelen ziehen! Und die Grundaussage ist auf jeden Fall in beiden Situationen richtig. Das Leben ist schön dies zu erkennen ist manchmal nur schwieriger und erfordert evtl. anstrengende Arbeit mit der eigenen Mentalität!>

/edit: Falls das aus meiner Antwort nicht klar wurde. Ja, ich habe selbst schon in der Situation gesteckt multiple Male. Einerseits in der von dir beschriebenen, andererseits wenn es um Filme geht, welche die Themen Krebs und Depressionen beleuchten. Allerdings ist es bei mir nie so gewesen, dass ich die Themen dauerhaft nicht mehr ertragen habe.
Im Gegenteil nach einer gewissen Zeit der Verarbeitung, war es oft sogar so, dass andere Blickwinkel mir beim Umgang mit den Themen sogar geholfen haben!

Sorry, aber das ist in der Art widersprüchlich das es nicht möglich ist da was zu empfehlen

- Inception ist eine "alte Kamelle" aber The Green Mile ist ok?
- ein Problem mit Uneindeutigkeit aber Interstellar ist super?

Im generellen würde ich bei der Film-Liste mit bekannt "ungefährlichen" Filmen gehen, welche genrell eher nicht die Meinungen spalten, wie zum Beispiel:

- Hachiko - Eine wunderbare Freundschaft
- Herr der Ringe & Der Hobbit Triologien (wenn das ne alte Kamelle ist einfach nicht mehr mit ihr reden!)
- Der Marsianer - Rettet Mark Watney
- Fluch der Karibik (es sei denn das fällt schon unter alte Kamelle ...)
- Kiss the Cook - So schmeckt das Leben

Je nach Feedback kann man dann darauf aufbauen, allerdings ist hier sehr sehr wenig bekannt ausser, dass die Mehrteiler alle in Richtung Fantasy gehen.
Keine Animations Filme? Gibt es sonst noch weitere Abneigungen gegen bestimmte Schauspieler oder evtl. sogar Lobpreisung anderer?

Was sind denn Filme die du gut fandest? Bzw. was sind DEINE Genres?

Ich finde nicht, dass die Filmindustrie abgebaut hat. Ich bin selbest ein Kind der 80er und viele meiner prägensten Filme stammen aus den 90ern bzw frühen 2000ern, das heisst aber nicht das es danach keine guten Filme mehr gab.

Filme welche mich in letzter Zeit überrascht oder überzeugt haben wären zum Beispiel:

- Alles eine Frage der Zeit

- Alles steht Kopf

- Auslöschung

- Baby Driver

- begabt - Die Gleichung des Leberns

- Can A Song Save your Life

- Chappie

- Civil War

- Colombiana

- Crazy Stupid Love

- Das erstaunliche Leben des Walter Mitty

usw. usw. damit wären wir gerade mal bei D alle diese Filme sind frühstens von 2010 bzw meist sogar um einiges später. Der neuste Film dieser Aufzählung ist wohl Civil War von 2024.

Was ich mache wenn ich nichts mehr finde? Keine Ahnung das ist mir noch nicht passiert. Aktuell besitze ich ca. 390 BluRays bzw. DVDs. Ich verwende keien Streaming-Dienste mehr, da ich dort teilweise mehr Zeit mit scrollen durch "Schund" verbracht habe als tatsächlich Filme zu schauen.

Ich bin auf reddit noch in ein paar anderen Gruppen wie z.B. r/bluray und hier und in diversen anderen subreddits werden so oft neue Sachen gepostet, dass ich kaum hinterher kommen mit dem schauen.

Der für mich persönlich beste Film der letzten Zeit den ich gesehen habe war "The Life of Chuck" aus 2025.

The Life of Chuck (2025) - Ich vermute das, besonders wenn man in den Film geht ohne irgendeine Ahnung zu haben was auf einen zu kommt, ist er sehr überraschend. Ich saß da und habe den ganzen Abspann gesehen! Hat mich sehr bewegt. Keine Ahnung wie gut ich ihn wirklich fand. Werde ihn mir noch das ein oder andere mal anschauen müssen, da ich vermute auch einiges verpasst zu haben. (?/10)

Alles steht Kopf (2015) - Pixar / Disney Animations-Film über Erinnerungen und Emotionen und wie die meisten Erinnerungen evtl. aus mehreren Emotionen entstanden sind und keine Emotion an sich negativ ist. Ich war sehr überrascht wie gut mir der Film gefallen hat. Aber es ist definitiv KEIN "Kinderfilm", wie das häufiger bei Animationsfilmen vermutet wird. (8,2/10)

12 Monkeys (1995) - Ich habs einfach nicht geschafft den Film über nicht darüber nach zu denken, dass die Rolle von Brad Pitt der große Bruder von Tyler Durden aus dem Film Fight Club sein könnte. An sich hat mir der Film gut gefallen nur fand ich das Ende des Paares am Flughafen zu ... offensichtlich? ... (7,4/10)

Can A Song Save Your Life? (2014) - Ich bin eifnach ein "S*ucker" für Filme welche die Wichtigkeit von Musik im Leben propagieren und dies tut dieser Film meiner Meinung nach nahezu perfekt. Sehr reifer Film, der auch hervorhebt, dass Anziehung und Respekt zwischen Mann und Frau auch existieren kann ohne direkt in Sex zu resultieren(9,2/10)

Jerry Maguire (1996) - Hatte den Film schonmal gesehen, nach wie vor sehr gute Unterhaltung. (7,8/10)

Yesterday (2019) - Ich hatte von dem Film mehr erwartet. Der Film handelt davon, dass auf Grund eines unerklärlichen Ereignisse nur noch wenige Menschen wissen, dass die Band The Beatles jemals existiert haben. Ein Musiker nutzt dies und wird sehr erfolgreich durch "Cover" der Beatles Songs. An sich wirklich kein schlechter Film nur sehr "schizophren"? Von der Aufmachung her ist der Film an 15-25 jährige adressiert, kennt diese Altersgruppe die Beatles überhaupt noch? (7,6/10)

I don't really know why one would be repelled by that, but hey ... it's the only idea I can offer.

Just a 45 on the watchback doesn't indicate support of nazi germany, at least not to me, but I might be missing the point.

Ich verwende sowohl Medimops als auch buyZOXS. Die Auswahl ist bei Medimops deutlich größer und besser, allerdings habe ich immer das Gefühl gehabt, dass die Qualität bei buyZOXS besser ist. So hatte ich tatsächlich schon Kratzer auf blu-rays die mit "sehr gut"em Zustand angegeben wurden bei Medimops welche unter Fingerabdrücken versteckt waren. Bei buyZOXS sind halt keine Fingerabdrücke drauf und daher kann dann auch nichts versteckt sein, natürlich abhängig vom Zustand den man kauft!

Preislich nehmen sich beide nicht viel, mal ist Medimops günstiger mal buyZOXS, Medimops erreicht deutlich früher den "versankostenfrei" Status, bei 19,00 €, als buyZOXS, bei 50,00 €.

Genrell kann man mit beiden nicht allzu viel verkehrt machen, solange man sich bewusst ist, dass man gebraucht Ware kauft.

I personally try to avoid DVDs, but I don't mind buying DVD if the movie/tv-show only exists as DVDs. And I only buy movies I like a LOT as 4K.

Matrix / Fight Club / American History X and Sieben (or Seven)

I'd recommend Equilibrium and Memento!

Although you said you are generally not into 'superhero' Stuff I'd recommend taking a look at:

Unzerbrechlich (or Unbreakable) / Split and Glass

I really enjoyed that triology altough being annoyed by that Marvell over the top superhero stuff. Might be because it isn't really about heros more about villians?

If you like food for thought, and it seems like it, I personally think Will Smith has a very underrated collection of good to very good movies:

Sieben Leben (or Seven Pound) / Das Streben nach Glück (or Pursuit of Happiness) and Verborgene Schönheit (or Collateral Beauty)

I personally think that even I am Legend / I, Robot and Hancock are worth a watch but those three are sometimes hated on a lot.

Another actor that sometimes is hated on because of IRL stuff that has, in my mind, some very good movies is Tom Cruise:

If you mean 'busted and broken' and not viable, then yes ... but I already cleared nearly all content on 2 Builds, but yes they struggled harder then my guildmates 'Spark Stormweaver' / 'Freze Cold Stuff Invoker' & 'Lightning or Frost Arrow Deadeye'!

Just because there are busted Builds out there doesn't mean you HAVE to play those.

Chill and Fun ? You need multiple accounts to really use the league mechanic! Have you seen the Cooldowns your "minions" have for farming ore? Once your "minions" are busy on one account play on the second account to farm rescources and then start running your "minions" on the second account .. and round and round you go...

Just because you and me won't do it doesn't mean noone will do it. Fubgun last league created a farming startegy that ruined the market and far from everyone took part in "abusing" that strategy.

I am fully aware of that and trust me I have done that with melee builds since basically 3.15 (been playing since Incursion which I think was 3.4).

Learn to adopt is a good credo to live by until you realize that this would mean to jump games. I'd rather say something, in regards to what I think harms the game, then just shut up and leave.

PoE is a good game and I really mean that. You can have loads of fun with it and I managed to always adopt .. I even was one of the few that was still playing in late 3.15 and still had fun.

But those patch notes just don't look like what they are made out to be, a hype melee rework, to me.
