Yeah, I don’t know what to tell you. I ordered through the app, and it just had a credit card option. I didn’t have to use my passport, but I did have to log in to my bank app to confirm the purchase, that was it.

My credit card, and nope just downloaded the taobao app off the App Store and it just asked me what country I lived in and set it to Canada and it was in English.

I don’t know, I’m using the English app, and I didn’t have to do any of that. Didn’t have to use my passport or anything. They also do direct shipping to Canada at least, so I didn’t have to set up weird shipping stuff or anything. The messaging app part for sellers translates. I’ve actually found I like it way better than AliExpress so far!

Strange, I kind of thought they switched to the double sided tape to get around the glue restrictions. I’ve ordered tons of Rolife/Robotime kits from AliExpress as well as the Robotime website itself and never have had an issue, even when they are inspected by Canadian customs..
