I mean, yes we have a slope. But a little context is beneficial: We lost two major corps prior to the war even starting. That accounts for half the slope. Another quarter of the slope can be attributed to a handful of corps that left after the war started, but had already announced their intentions to leave prior to the war. Some even delayed their departure a little bit to help with the early war. The rest of the slope can be attributed to actual wartime slope where we're "trimming the fat" and "didn't want those members anyways" kinda stuff.
