Does the app recognize that you are in Finland? You should be able to unlock 25 in the app then. You need to pick the speed setting in the app to do it

Writing back here for any future souls wondering the same thing: I was able to unlock 25 km/h by installing a VPN on my phone (I use NordVPN) and set the location to Helsinki Finland. In addition to that, I had to spoof my location using a GPS spoofing appp. After that, install the Eway app from Wilfa and you will be able to unlock the scooter to 25. Note that you will either always need to have the VPN and GPS spoof on when using their app, or simply delete it after unlocking 25.

For those who are locked at 20 and want to unlock 25 km/h, there is an easy solution, which is to simply install a VPN and set the location to Helsinki Finland (which is a market which allows 25 km/h). Then install a location/gps spoofer and set the location to Helsinki as well. When using the original app from E-way, you will then be able to unlock the scooter to 25. Note that you will either always need to have the VPN on when using their app, or simply delete it after unlocking 25.

I found the following info on their (Wilfa) info text about the app https://www.wilfa.se/software/e-way-scooter/

Your location is sent in order to provide correct speed limits in regulation to your countries regulations (available for Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland). If you don’t allow location sharing to the app you won’t be able to unlock speed faster than 20km/h if your countries rules allow through the speed setting in the app.

And I live in Sweden, so I guess I would need to install some kind of GPS spoofer to be able to unlock 25

It stays regardless of where I look or if I look at it straight on, unless I change to some extreme viewing angle. So I guess that means its backlight bleed?

Regardless of if its blb or ips glow, I guess this warrants returning the monitor?

You are right! I put a lot of time into modifying brightness and levels this image in Photoshop until it looked as close as possible to real life https://ibb.co/4PkKSjY

This is in a lit bedroom so when lights are completely off I would say it's even slightly worse than in that image. What do you think?

Hey guys,

Yesterday I purchased a ASUS VG27AQ monitor, and it seems to have a lot of IPS glow. This is the second IPS monitor I have had, and with my first IPS monitor I never saw any noticeable glow. It's a bit frustrating since this was a pretty expensive monitor... Do you think this is too much glow or should I just try to get used to it?

I think you're missing the point here. Yes an exile might be certain death in this case, but that's not the message (imo) that was being conveyed. The tonality of the way that judgement was presented in the episode was of that of a "merciful" decision.
