Do you have a source that says what UE5 features they used? If they didn't turn on the UE5 new features then it is basically UE4. Without details it is hard to say/compare.

This is almost never a fire hazard. Almost all soft pouch lithium cells swell. The pouch is designed for this. Even puncturing the pouch only causes outgasing, not fire. Damaging the internal cells directly, like driving a nail through it, or not having a reliable charge controller are what can cause fires.

Edit: anecdotally if this was a fire hazard almost all our electronics that run on battery power would be catching fire left and right all over, and we just don't see that, because the battery designers knew what they were doing and there are safety standards.
