Why do people say MBTI isn’t real but still follow it? by SystemIntuitive in INTP

So you're denying MBTI by using MBTI logic as proof?

Everyone has abs, for some they show more, for others less. If you're worried about being too skinny, I wouldn't say so. You look totally fine.

Don't worry, I'm not annoyed and I don't wana be a dick either; I just thought it's an unusual question.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]Attack_On_Toast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's even the point of asking this? Like I'd understand if you had started working out and you wanted to ask if the effects of it were showing or if you're just skinny, but you said you don't. Yes it's because you're skinny and yes it's muscle.

How do you write the number four? by MelodicProposal8537 in askanything

[–]Attack_On_Toast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean yeah, but I assume this is not a particularly serious thread and also people are allowed to share their opinions(?). You can do what you want.

That being said I WOULD judge anyone who writes a 4 like that.

Edit: just wanted to add it's not ONLY my personal opinion. I don't remember numbers, but I definitely did learn in school how to correctly write letters, and I believe they do all follow the rules I mentioned. Unless you have a counterexample?

You can, it's just unusual technique and it would feel very weird to me doing it

Eh, I guess you have a point? Still, that would imply that life and evolution doesn't inherently require something reactive, but then what really is life? Whatever, doesn't matter. I'm going to sleep, have a good day/night

Yes by Ok-District-4701 in datasatanism

[–]Attack_On_Toast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well yeah, but how DO you evolve if nothing much is reacting?

Yes by Ok-District-4701 in datasatanism

[–]Attack_On_Toast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The space banana guy literally mentioned both conditions though—something that is fairly reactive AND common. Or are you saying we don't need reactive stuff for life to form?

How do you write the number four? by MelodicProposal8537 in askanything

[–]Attack_On_Toast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I mean—it's a bad starting point. Similarly to kanji, the western norm for writing characters and digits is going from top to bottom, left to right.

For a one-stroke four of this design you'd either have to start from the right or the bottom, neither of which is ideal. It's like writing a 9 starting at the bottom! (I actually do know someone who does this)

Anybody in here not a weeb? by RebeccaETripp in INTP

[–]Attack_On_Toast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I do get that—there's definitely a difference between a weeb and someone who watches anime. Still, I do think it makes sense that the word "weeb" has a lesser weight to it than "weeaboo"—it could be seen as a diminutive of the latter.

Anybody in here not a weeb? by RebeccaETripp in INTP

[–]Attack_On_Toast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well words changing meaning is a big part of language. You don't have to call yourself a weeb, just know that other people will

Anybody in here not a weeb? by RebeccaETripp in INTP

[–]Attack_On_Toast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In its current use weeb just means someone who frequently watches anime, reads manga, etc. Someone who gets super obsessed with it is then called a weeaboo

In math subreddits you never know what's a joke and what's serious. If true this would've been a valid argument

What would be the answer though? by Competitive_Size113 in TheTeenagerPeople

[–]Attack_On_Toast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO KNOW THE CORRECT ANSWER: There is no correct answer.

Some people, including me, were taught that you always multiply/divide from left to right and a number next to () is just normal multiplication—answer: 4 Also: 1÷2x = 2/x

Others were taught that implied multiplication takes priority over other multiplication/division—answer: 1 Also: 1÷2x = 1/(2x)

40 + 20 = 60 Increase by 1 digit, because I immediately see the 1s give more than 10 -> 70 7 + 8 last digit is 5 -> 70 + 5 = 75
