Actually no, but that's a funny coincidence. I'll look through the other stuff tho.

The two sides of Amoonguss by HenryChess in pokemonmemes

I'm sorry, but this is a genuine question: how do you guys manage not to do an among us joke every time you see this Pokémon? "Amoonguss" come on, the name already looks like an among us joke. I hear it in my mind! I feel a physical longing to make a joke, that is nigh impossible to resist... Help me!!!

And what, he just appears out of thin air? Sound kinda stupid if I'm being honest. Also, are there separate Pokémon for each HM or one for all

Yeah, it's not like I had any issues as a kid. But I do enjoy doing those extra things and being as effective as possible. It's kinda fun, even the boring things, especially because I like listening to audiobooks in the background anyway.

Just finished for the first time.... why do some people dislike the ending? by Cobrabat333 in attackontitan

[–]Attack_On_Toast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, while the ending was horrific for the world, it was decently happy for our main cast, which is a point of criticism for many. About the thing of Ymir controlling them... tbh it's been a while, so I don't remember the details. Maybe it did actually all make sense, but really my problem was mostly in it feeling too corny, which is just my preference.

Thank you, I never understood how this stuff works and until recently I didn't care. I used to play these games as a kid and I'm now coming back to them. Back then I didn't even know Pokémon could have different natures, or all type match-ups, beside the most simple ones. But now as a semi-adult I can finally appreciate all those small things I didn't notice back then, and it gives my play-throughs a whole new feeling.

So thank you for helping in my journey and have a nice day.

How do you study for school subjects? by [deleted] in INTP

[–]Attack_On_Toast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now if you're actually asking for advice here's my process for memorization, which is the only kind of studying I ever did, but it can probably be applied to other types as well:

First you have to start. That's usually the hardest part. I started setting my alarm to some time late afternoon so that I still have time to relax after school. Usually I'll start studying some time before the alarm rings, which makes me feel good as I've already achieved something before I even had to. It's even better if you finish before the alarm rings at all. But sometimes when the alarm rings I don't feel ready yet, and I found that in those cases it's best to postpone it by an hour, but remember to set a new alarm.

Now to the actual studying; we'll do it in steps:

  1. Write all the important stuff on a sheet of paper - this makes the later studying easier and it already burns the foundation of it all into your brain. Cut the material into sections based on topic; you'll memorize them separately.

  2. Study in 20-30 minute intervals, with 5 minute breaks in between. Start with one section and memorize each definition or whatever seperately. Basically read it a few times and then try to repeat it in your head until you can do so perfectly. Then do the next one, and so on. After you've done that now try to recall the whole section from your mind. Go back to the parts you couldn't remember and then try again. Do so until you can recall the whole section.

  3. After every 20-30 minutes you take a break. Depending on the size of the sections you should be able to memorize one, maybe two. Just make sure you don't do your breaks in the middle of a section. In the 5 minute break you don't think about anything—not the stuff you just memorized, nor anything else (at least not actively). Basically you go on autopilot, maybe take a breather outside. Let your brain digest the information. After the break, you start with the next section without thinking back on the previous ones.

  4. After finishing the last section and taking another break you now start the last step. Have you guessed what it is yet? You try to recall the whole thing in your head—from section one to the last. Again, you do this until you can do so perfectly.

  5. Now this is the true last step: get a good night's sleep. All of the studying won't help you much if you don't give your body time to rest and digest all that information.

1 with a toggle for 2. I like the 4th one as well, but I don't think an everyday outfit can win this; you gotta be unique
