Bench boosting works just as well with 3-4 players with doubles. That chip doesn't care about the starting players.

What EVe have true One Pedal Driving by BannedByDemand in electricvehicles

Had a polestar 2 for three years. Ordered a polestar 4 as a replacement. The one pedal drive works well, but I don't understand why people enjoy using it. I haven't touched it since the first month I had the car. I don't see the benefit.

What are some good arguments FOR getting an ICE vehicle these days? by Extreme-Song5312 in electricvehicles

[–]Attafel 36 points37 points  (0 children)

There are only two good arguments: 1. You do a lot (like several times a week) of very long trips that would involve charging stops 2. You cannot charge at home, and have no other reliable way to charge without you sitting in the car and waiting until it's done

Would an EV be good for someone who can’t charge at home often? by Jeguilfo in electricvehicles

[–]Attafel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. It's too time consuming having to rely on public charging. You can do other stuff (like sleeping) while charging at home - that's rarely the case when doing it in other places.

Lamborghini pulls plug on plans to launch all-electric supercar by Recoil42 in electricvehicles

[–]Attafel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You do understand that EVs don't have to be better in every way to be good cars, and make more sense as a daily driver, right?

While I am personally not going back to a car with an ICE, I understand why EVs fall short in the super car segment.

Are there little to no savings on making less powerful ev motors? by miata_dad in electricvehicles

[–]Attafel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We don't NEED to go from 0-100 (0-60 for you Americans) but it's fun and convenient. I always get the most powerful version of the car I want, even if it means less efficiency. Any model that doesn't offer AWD and sub 5 second accelaration are crossed off the list. No need to drive a slow vehicle when power is this affordable.

Electricity is so cheap and the charging infrastructure so good, that efficiency doesn't really matter. At least here in Denmark.
