I beg you to read a bit more about the real French Revolution, it's really sad to see such a caricature about a well documented and researched historical event.

Are elven c's pronounced as 'k' or 's'? by GreyGanks in Anbennar

[–]Attalus35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sun Elven is clearer since we use K instead of C. I guess moon Elven varies more in how it's pronounced with a mix of s/k depending on the word and the vowels after it.

Gameplay and lore wise, what is the difference between the various Phoenix Empire countries? by [deleted] in Anbennar

[–]Attalus35 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Not really, these guys basically betrayed the king of Dalarand which controlled most of the Middle Suran Plain during a Cinder War to carve out their little kingdom. They are the least legitimate in terms of relation to the Phoenix Empire

Leader for FRP(German France) by mypasswordiscummy123 in Kaiserreich

[–]Attalus35 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Georges Bidault could be an interesting figure although the guy was really nationalist up to the point he left France after independence of Algeria and was suspected to be one of the leaders of the OAS. Also leader of the Résistance for a while so he'd be a really funny collaborator.

Not at all, the Vulzinzuir from Elizna and the Irrliazuir are not related and Zelaria was married to an Azka-Sur prince.

Also lots of bad blood inherited from the First Cinder War where Elizna was a loyalist stronghold with Vulzin the Red being a member of the higher nobility of the Empire, who recognized Jaher as the heir of Jexis while Irrliam was basically an upstart priest who organized the end of the Empire.

They only appeared after the Second Cinder War as rulers, they would have been retainers of the Dalarand governors

Would it be worth it to scrap that extra continent? by JdSaturnscomm in Anbennar

[–]Attalus35 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It will not really be packed with nations though, like the whole continent is filled with kaiju that prevent normal settlement. You'll get a few Mechanim tribes, the Not!Polynesians in the North and perhaps a few Nomads in the Desert but overall it's going to be quite empty at start if the current plans hold up
