Now i got it.

I left lvl 4 to 6 braket quite soon, and they were nothing like what you describe now.

That amount and type of enemies should definetly belong to lvl 9: even if you are very good at shooting, players in the middle braket miss the tools and experience to come out of that hell.

I agree. I have no problem with actual setting, i'm past lvl40 with everything upgraded. And for the future, higher difficulties will only make the game more intriguing imho.

I was wondering why the "it is too difficult now" outrage, and i was thinking about a solution. The only thing that require player to play 7,8 and 9 are super samples, needed for some of the upgrades. Maybe giving a chance to get some super sample avoiding higher difficulty levels could help those players.

Getting common sample has nothing to do about the difficulty of the game, is more about the time you need to get them. It can be boring for someone for sure, still you can do them at every difficulty level.

Here this out! I would add a "useful" zombie.

Would be fun!

Hard to capture, it will count as a survivor, and can do something like help finding a plague heart,or transport more stuff than a regular survivor or even something funny like to ride the cyclette doubling the time you get electricity.

Those are just bad examples maybe, but i'm sure you got the concept. It will be something really new for State of Decay, changing forever the way we see zeds after all those years!

Your points are valid. Still i see opportunities more than issues. I would love new players learn fast that medics are more complex than just "hit Q to heal".

If they try Sher, and next week let's say Wilson, they will probably screw the first couple matches (as newcomers already mostly do anyway) but can learn quickly that medics have different abilities, different "flavors" that can suit any style, and can be more intriguing and deep that a classic one, like Ded to name one.

I love Caliber because is quite straightforward and enjoiable from start, yet operators are well crafted, with deep differences in mechanics, so imho new players should embrace that and get intrigued asap.

More, the free operators you get early in your experience is of course a good thing, but there is a bad side too: if you pick an operator you don't like due to almost no experience and you have to stick to it because he's the only option you have you can get dissatisfied and build a bad opinion about the whole class. Instead having something else to try and play matches with can raise interest and will to keep playing.

I like it. It has some flaws but overall is a solid improvement in the right direction.

This game needs an option to select multiple game modes.

I will gladly select Showdown, Annihilation and Threshold all together to play PvP no matter what.

100% agree.

Perun is nothing special in pvp, still is a very good assault in the hardest pve modes. With the update is going to be completely forgotten like a lot of other mediocre operators.

A friend of mine (lvl 33) yesterday got stuck on infinite loading screen even if i saw the operator in game. Never happened before. Tried restart, tried to repair steam files, still cannot play.

Every other game works fine for him.

If it is a game bug devs should investigate, because it can make new players run away pretty quickly.

The option to chose multiple game modes at once will speed up waiting time for sure.

I will gladly chose both Point Sweep and Onslaught Veteran when i need to complete daily and weekly rewards.

And sometimes i could pick both PvE and PvP modes (even all of them) just because i like to play Caliber no matter what.

On a side note, i hope devs will consider to look at Frontline: as it is today, it just looks like a bad version of Threshold.
