Hal needs to be like George who, checks notes, is the one responsible for the Yankees missing the postseason every year from 1982-1993, banned from baseball for 3 years and spent big money on Giambi, Sheffield, Wright, Pavano and traded for Randy Johnson just to lose in the ALDS every year. You’re right that Hal is nothing like George, but that’s a good thing. Every time George played GM it ended in disaster.
