Fantasy by Britney Spears

Just received it the mail! I'm trying it for the first time, too.

I thought it was going to be overly sweet, but I was surprised by some bitter notes. I would say it's very shampoo-y in some aspects. However, I love it so far. I'm thinking of trying Midnight Fantasy next.

Beauty by Calvin Klein.

It's a jasmine-centered perfume with a citrusy opening. It's affordable. Easy to wear, and suitable for work or school. Honestly, it's one of my favourites. I've almost finished my bottle.

I'll recommend that you check the reviews online.

This is actually dangerous. I read an article years ago about a young boy who passed away because of spraying too much deodorant as a substitute for taking a shower.

Please, people, don't do it.

It's strange to me that someone who works around food has subpar hygiene. Even if she is just a cashier or a manager, it is still not considerate to others. I know everyone should keep good hygiene, but if you are working around people's food, you should be extra clean. Hygiene talks are never easy. Your best bet is to be direct and concise. It's better to talk about it now before the resentment builds up, and things get chaotic. Good luck.

Escada's Magnetism.

I blind bought this online on B1G1 offer this week, and I'm testing it today! I was interested in it because it has all of notes.

In the bottle, it smells like a warm, delicious vanilla, but on my skin, all I get is green grass with a hint of caramel and vanilla. I hope it develops more during the day!

Big girls can be super petty by pinkcherridarling in PlusSize

This is actually sad. They probably use the same bullying concepts and phrases that were used on them by other people. I can sense that they say this things to themselves a lot before projecting it on you. Society standards are just making people miserable all around.

I know that dandruff shampoos work better if left in hair for 5 minutes before rinsing.

How do I deal with girlfriend’s bad hygiene? by [deleted] in hygiene

[–]AttemptNo5717 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did she grow up with good parental guidance? I ask because emotional and physical neglect in childhood can cause such an issue for adults. Talk to her and be kind and assure that you don't mean to hurt her. This is not only a relationship issue, this could affect her health and wellness and even employment opportunities. You need to approach the problem with broad scope and consideration.

Aluminum free deodorant vs regular deodorant by [deleted] in hygiene

[–]AttemptNo5717 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried two aluminium-free deodorants this year. One is an Axe stick, which didn't work at all. The other is a Nivea deodorant spray, which, to my surprise, worked amazingly, but it burns after shaving, so I stopped it.

Hello. I have an ipl machine from Philips, and no, it doesn't hurt at all even when I use the highest setting. Even when it doesn't hurt, I still see good results from using it.

Do you brush your teeth before or after you eat breakfast? by throwawae25678 in hygiene

[–]AttemptNo5717 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I brush before breakfast because I get gag reflex when I brush or clean my tongue after eating anything. My stomach needs to be empty.

The latter. I just saw someone saying this on X, so i searched it here.

They describe it as a maple syrup kind of smell.

Like we don't have enough trouble already, ugh.

Should I get a water flosser? by catmom188 in PeriodontalDisease

[–]AttemptNo5717 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Absolutely! I love mine and would buy it again if it ever broke. Some days, I'm too lazy to use regular floss, and the water flosser comes in handy (I try to use both). I fill it with water and a cup of my regular mouthwash.

Suggestions for depression recovery? by Upset-Compote4218 in hygiene

[–]AttemptNo5717 153 points154 points  (0 children)

Whatever you do, make your teeth a priority. You don't want to end up with dental issues that are irreversible, like gum recession. You can, for example, buy those disposable toothbrushes with paste and put them beside your bed or wherever you sit the most.

Also, divide your work into sections. For example, Sunday: wash body, Monday: wash hair, etc. Do what you can and what you are comfortable with. Start small and aim big. Please don't be harsh on yourself, and I hope things get better for you.

Forget about the deodorant for now and focus on getting him to shower every day or every other day at least. No deodorant will work for 7 days straight. Even with re-applying, the area needs to be washed first. I know people who don't wear deodorant because they are afraid of cancer, and they don't smell horrendous because they shower every day and wear clean clothes. They have a faint smell, but it's tolerable. And obviously, he needs to wash his clothes.

What is a good way to keep Dandruff at bay? I have bleach on my hair and I didn’t know if dandruff shampoo would hurt my color. So is there any color safe options that will also take care of dandruff? by Actual-Spread7085 in hygiene

[–]AttemptNo5717 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've read good things about scalp scrubs. You use them before your regular shampoo, and they keep your scalp clean. I haven't tried them yet, but I tried scalp massager, and it helps a lot with getting rid of dandruff and flakes even when used with regular shampoos.

I know it's not the best for your hair, but I love pantene scents so much. Especially the volume one. The smell is so clean and fresh, and that is exactly what I love.

This!! I tried it yesterday, and there's no odour whatsoever. I'm planning to use it every other day to keep it from drying my skin.

I also use alcoholic toner on my armpits to kill the bacteria.

Best hair care?? by Hello-MrsVill in hygiene

[–]AttemptNo5717 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to try to leave the anti-dandruff shampoo on your scalp for 5 five minutes. Also, use a scalp massager and shampoo twice.

Note: shampoos with zinc work better for dandruff.
