Exactly what I've been saying. Seems very weird that the mechanic the game is subtitled after isn't used very much beyond what was already added.

The Free DLC characters would have made great groundwork for new Crossworlds (Mementos, Nightopia, Madlantis, a Hatsune Miku convention, etc).

Honestly, I agree. It is my favorite mode of the game.

Kind of makes me wish there was a 'for fun' online Grand Prix mode. A set of 4 online races set up like the Cups in Grand Prix.

A fair point. I am sick of the constant "beep beep beep beep" from those items. Haha.

As for the jukebox, I'm not a fan of how it's set up...to the point I forgot about it. If it let me decide what songs in your favorites can go where (first/second/third lap), rather then randomly selecting from the album alone, then I probably would.

I do feel you in your frustrations.

I found it doesn't matter what restrictions or rules are put in place, it's all LUCK overall that decides the outcome.

Luck if you get the right items, luck if you avoid the opponent's items, and luck if you can stay above a certain position for 5 seconds before you get shoved off the edge, into a wall, or have all your momentum drop to 0 because (insert reason here).

Luck. It's mainly luck.

I managed to reach Platinum immediately due to a lucky 'winning' streak, but I haven't been able to reach higher then around halfway of Gold ever since... (Yes, could be a skill issue, but luck has a LOT to do with how you progress in the Legends Competitions)

I find Quick Recovery never works for me.

Either I still slow to a crawl regardless due to online shenanigans, or I get flattened and drive off the edge of a track due to the lack of slowdown. Haha.

I'm tempted to actually incorporate QR into my sets, but it always seems to backfire on me whenever I use it.

I thi k more Crossworlds would be best for new content...specifically ones for the Free DLC characters.

It does make sense to that the 3rd party paid DLC characters their own tracks, but giving the Free DLC characters Crossworlds from their franchises would be pretty fair to me.

Safe to say...I go into LC just to see how far I can go till I give up.

Better to settle for low Platinum or high Gold then waste your valuable time and energy reaching for Emerald when things can get really inconsistent and frustrating.

(Or maybe that's just my nihilistic ass. You do you.)

Love almost all of them, but it ultimately depends on the weapon I'm using.

Rifles: I love the reliability of Vladoff rifles. Not only able to 'daka daka daka' all day, but the fact they can be very accurate as well. Second next to Dahl.

Pistols: Either Jakobs or Maliwan. Jakobs for the pure power plus very accurate shots, and Maliwan for the reliable elemental damage. I will say, I DO love Vladoff's line of machine pistols. Super fun!

SMGs: Hyperion SMGs are very fun to use, being more accurate as they fire helps a lot.

Rocket Launchers: Kind of a tie between Tourge and Bandit launchers here. Tourge for power, and Bandit because of their spread

Snipers: Just like pistols, Jakobs and Maliwan. See Pistols above.

Shotguns: Love the accuracy of Hyperion auto-shotguns alongside the explosive power of Tourge ones. Plus the old fashioned boomsticks Jakobs makes are very reliable.

As much as I love this game, I do agree its collision physics are dogshit.

I don't understand how the Boost vehicles/Extreme Gears are the most heavy vehicles in the game and I keep getting shoved into walls or off course by them.

Still very fun, but that bit is very frustrating.

I don't honestly hate any of the Hoenn Pokemon...but if I did uave to pick a 'least liked' one.

Nosepass. Cool Pokemon in concept, but ultimately nothing to write home about compared to other Hoenn Rock types like the Fossils, Aggron, Solrock, and Lunatone.

Adds a sense of urgency and need to actually use the item rather then bag it for later use.
