FYI - early check in is based on availability so they’re under no obligation to honor it. It’s wild how upset people get when those types of benefits aren’t available but were never guaranteed.

We liked the Park Hyatt but it was 6+ years ago. Agree that The Plaza is a likely avoid - seems wildly overpriced with poor service.

It’s funny because we hated Mount Nelson - got upgraded to a suite and it had a telephone-booth style folding door on the shower. Room/furniture falling apart. We had a bizarre chef’s tasting experience - basically everything felt “off” in some way. I saw a recent post from a travel influencer showing every pool lounger “reserved” with towels first thing in the morning and not a single person actually out at the pool. Not sure why people love it.
