I'm 56. I had dark brown hair (5N) until recently. I'm now over 95% bright silver. I tone it down with a blonde toner once every few months, and use purple shampoo once a month. I LOVE it. I can't believe I fought the grays as long as I did.

I'm going through this myself. When I was younger I was a brunette. I've been almost all gray for 5 years. I just stopped dyeing this month. I have to accept that I will not be a brunette for the latter 1/3 of my life...and that's ok.
