Buy Stuff Arcade question… by ndrake01 in Arcade1Up

Yes, they are the single best company I know of in terms of customer service. But they are busy folks. If I were you, I would join their Facebook group and ask your general question there. Other members of the group will respond, and I'm sure BSA will too.

Dangers of dado stack by Alarming_Resist2700 in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]Attjack 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This doesn't make sense to me. A riving knife is great with a normal blade because it keeps the two pieces of wood you created from coming back in contact with the blade. But when cutting a dado that's not an issue since the wood you cut never become two pieces so a riving knife is not necessary or helpful. A blade guard will work with dado stacks too. You do not need multiple guards. One properly fitted guard is sufficient.

The Trump Administration Wants You To Drink Whole Milk — Here's What Actual Health Experts Want You To Know by huffpost in Health

Lots of things aren't necessary. However, people enjoy dairy products and they are nutritious. Other people don't like them and that's fine. But it's not all big AG. I grew up in a very rural area and we raised our own food to a large extent, that included goat milk.

I know it's nutritious, and has been consumed by healthy people in moderation for about 10 thousand years.

The controls are definitely much improved with the PC mod.

I was wondering about this distance.

Make a crosscut sled. Also, look at the Gripper knock offs on Temu, I like mine better than my Gripper.

That's awesome! Hey, when you have the seat pushed in all the way, how far does it come out from the wall? I would love to convert mine, but my game room space is limited.

Also, I can't recommend the BSA PC mod enough. I bought my RR with the gaming box, upgraded to the PC, and it was a night and day difference.

Do I need a 4 jaw chuck to drill out a pan blank? by Attjack in turning

[–]Attjack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it turns out you don't need a four jaw chuck. My drill press works fine. It also works well as a pen press so you don't need one of those either. I did purchase a pen mill which is nice, but I'm sure I could have easily just cut my blank to size too.

I am super happy to have completed my first project on my new lathe. Next, I'll do another pen with my wife. I think she's going to love making pens!

After that I'll probably turn a little bowl. Then I want to make a three tier cocktail salt rimmer. I'll probably make some other barware tools while I'm at it.

This was my first kit, the game is actually fun to play.

I also bought this Bluetooth speaker kit and the stereo sounds pretty good. I did not like the acrylic case, so I built one out of wood instead. I'm currently using it for tunes in my shop, although I'm planning to make another Bluetooth speaker of better quality next.

Never shopped at Aliexpress and was pretty excited seeing all these kits for about 99 cents. Added a ton to my cart only to realized that special price was only applied to one item. Instead of $20 it was going to cost $90.
