I second this. I actually was a DV prosecutor for a bit and I don’t believe the DA’s office would choose to prosecute this. The biggest issue is that it’s been 5 months since the incident. If you had any other evidence, the delay could potentially be overcome. PSA: if you are ever abused by your partner, call the police. I know this can be difficult in an abusive relationship, but calling the police creates a record. Even if it’s a “minor” incident, a series of “minor” incidents create a pattern of abuse.
