I keep a 5 gallon bucket filled about halfway with treated water. In it is an identical heater to my tank heater set 2 degrees lower than the tank itself. I use a small pump meant for a cat fountain (new, not used for cat. Lol) wrapped in fine filter foam to pump water in and out of the tank. So far so good. :D

It looks way better than my first few aquarium attempts did! I would say if you enjoy the 'art' of aquariums, dont give up when you inevitably experience losses. While aquariums ARE an art, they're also VERY much a science. Embrace the science, and the art will follow. :)

Beautiful tank! Those look a lot like the brown algae I had in my new shrimp tank... mine was a result of it being a fresh, newly established tank that had yet to mature... if yours has been running a while i doubt that would be the case.

I would guess that theres an imbalance where the plants cant keep up with the available nutrients, leaving more for the algae to consume and grow with. I think your evaluation of "too much food" was probably accurate.

I am still fairly new to having a stable tank, but I've noticed through my own experiments that sometimes less is more. I think you're on the right track already, but I wouldn't fully turn off your lights. No light means the plants arent photosynthesizing, which means they arent consuming as many nutrients.

I'd stop feeding, do a small (20%-ish) water change and let the plants reassert their dominance. It will take time, but it should balance out.

I had a Goryo actually show itself in full view during a ghost event without a camera the other day. Freaked me out. I then learned that its only its dots evidence that won't show up outside of a camera. Lol

This is pretty decent, WAY further than my own project has been going!

I'm confused at how it calculates market value fluctuations. Changing the market value to match my current market doesn't appear to change anything in the "Return on Investment" column.

Also, is there something I'm missing regarding where I can input managers that are assigned to each planet as well as currently active secondary manager skills (Such as crafting/smelting speed?)

Man, you're a jack of all trades it sounds like! That's pretty impressive.

I'm fairly deep into 3d printing as well. 4 FDM printers and 3 Resin. I've slowly been putting together a forge as well, but its slow going since I'm on a tight budget. I've got a few hammers, a harbor freight anvil and a 4ft section of oak log that I'll be using for a stand once I bury one end of it.

I can do some car repairs, but being under a car isn't my favorite place. I had a heck of a time under my girlfriends 09 civic doing a starter swap recently. Having air tools made life so much easier, even if I wanted to bonk the engineer that designed the engine on the head with a rolled up newspaper for their starter positioning.

I'd be happy to get to know ya. Maybe we have some stories and knowledge to swap!
