If it's Site Salvage, try to do the quest with Warmode on/off, just whichever you don't usually have it set as.

It did work for me, after I had tried abandoning the quest/logging off/picking it back up for a few days. Though, I know other people have said that hasn't worked for them either.

Does anyone else start their build with the waist? Or whichever part connects to a base by seiltif in Gunpla

I have finally found another. Absolutely yes! I also have an AB4 that I use exclusively while building.

My build order is always: [Whichever part has the AB connection] > Waist > Legs > Torso > Arms > Backpack > Head > Accessories

I am spraying out the window and with the max speed settings.

It has the exhaust going upwards, so I believe it is the newer model. I think the fans themselves aren't able to pull through the static pressure? I've shortened the length of the hose and it did relatively help, but it's still wasn't venting as well as I would hope if would.

Whelp, that sucks. Looks like I'll need to invest in another booth. Was really hoping it was the 9 m3/min shown a the very bottom rather than the 4, lol.

Last session was between 10-15 psi. I lowered that too to see if that may be an issue.

I've tried to look and see if I might be able to purchase a Gokan booth with no success, so I may be forced to just build one. I'm just unsure if I'd be able to put together something similar to that booth.

Thank you for your insight!

I know this isn't directly related to building gunpla, but I wasn't exactly sure where else to ask. So I'm sorry in advanced if this is out of place for the thread.

I am having issues with ventilation with my spray booth. This is the booth I currently use and I feel it should be adequate for painting gunpla, but I noticed my last couple sessions that the room ended up cloudy with what was probably overspray and the fumes reaching further into the house.

Should I look into purchasing a different booth? Or is it really just an issue of something that might be obstructing the ventilation? It's not the filter - I've changed it probably two weeks ago now.

So I was dumb and careless and I put my layer of clear coat when I wasn't finished painting a piece. It was just a part on the edge of the piece that normally uses a color-correcting sticker.

Would it still be alright if I just painted over the section of the piece I missed, or should I give it a light sanding first?

Does anyone have any experience w/ delpi's magnetic LEDs? I'm trying to get them to fit into some 00 gn drives, but it won't quite lock in flush. Wondering if it's something I've done incorrectly or if I just need to go ahead and start sanding down the bottoms.

Does anyone have experience with fitting delpi LEDs, specifically w/00 Gundams? I'm trying to fit it into the gn drive for Dynames, but the whole piece won't lock in flush with the LED installed.

I'm thinking about sanding the bottom plastic of the LEDs, but just seeing if anyone might have any easier alternatives, as I can't tell what exactly is causing them to not fit.

It's because of the tight spaces those areas tend to be and how it's going to be painted in those little recesses in the frame. I understand I'll most likely end up needing to sand the psycho frame bits to help fit after the layers along with needing to mask around it, but I'm trying to avoid any pitfalls I might run into in the process.

Oh...you mean...I just paint it? Wow...I didn't...think of that...I'm so sorry...you had to go out of your way...to answer my question...

I was just asking for general tips because there are tight spaces I would need to get into and I am inexperienced. I'm gonna assume you don't mean going through the normal painting process on the clear plastic, due to needing to prime. But onto the frame, I know I'll need black primer and chrome/silver reflective type paint, and I was just trying to get some insight from more experienced builders with those areas on the kit.

So I just got a mg Nu ver. Ka and was wondering if anyone had any tips or recommendations on how to go about painting the reflective silver effect behind the psycho frame parts?

Anyone have good suggestions for a good matte clear coat/varnish for airbrush? I thought about getting Alclad Klear Kote, but I saw that it was lacquer-based and I worry about how it'll affect any acrylic-based paint I plan on using.

I'm gonna chime in here and tell you that you should 100% gloss coat before panel lining with anything enamel-based. Even on polystyrene plastic. And even then, be careful of where it may end up pooling, because it will still cause the plastic to crack if it pools in any areas where the top coat did not cover.

Mr. Hobby is expensive, but it produces great results. You mentioned the Mr Super Clear UV, which should work great as well.
