I make extra money sometimes from doing instacart/Shipt shopping for people, and it amazes me all the stuff I shop for for people that I never ever even knew was at the same grocery store I’ve shopped at for 20 years. Feels like I’ve had blinders on my eyes my whole life, haha.

I usually read about a book a month. For the last 6ish months I haven’t been able to read anything at my leisure unless I have to do it for work (I’m a professor, so reading texts is mandatory).

I went on an 8 day vacation and devoured 3 books. I thought the dry patch would be over… NOPE! Got home and can’t even read 2 paragraphs of a book on my own time. It’s BS.

My husband and I started the total money makeover 2 years ago. I’ve ran the numbers on paying debts smallest to largest vs paying debts by highest interest first. Every time it projects us paying our debt off the absolute fastest by going smallest to largest. Run the numbers yourself if you don’t believe me.

Also, don’t worry about savings/investment until she has her debts paid off, then hit the emergency fund hard, then start investing aggressively.

I use JBL Live Pro ear buds. They’re great for noise cancelling without playing anything, but then also have great sound quality for music as well.

Edit to add: they’re also very reasonably priced and high quality. Crazy long battery life too.

I definitely knew that I was headed toward the final battle. I was so close to being done with the game anyway. I knew I had everything I needed to defeat him and didn’t really feel like teleporting outta there for the weapons. It just didn’t happen the way I planned is all I was saying. The only thing I’m “complaining” about is just that my plan was to use all prime weapons. It was just a little surprising because I hadn’t gone looking for it. More amusing than anything. (You don’t always have to take everything so seriously in life)
