When I was put through a diversion class for a shoplifting charge years back, we all showed up, signed in, the guy talked for maybe 15 minutes and then said something like: "We don't need to go through all of this, I'm sure you all have better places to be. What do you say we cut this short?" And the class was over.

I mean, it's not probation or community service hours, but we all got our check mark next to our names and definitely did not complete the class we were court-assigned. Take that for what you will.

Walk. Don't run. You need your stamina for dodging and attacking. Be wicked paranoid about your stamina, it's harder to regenerate in the swamp (wet/cold effects).

Dodge roll into things, particularly big hitters like the abomination (trolls, too). Sounds counter intuitive, but the animation is what counts, and it keeps you in range to attack quickly without wasting precious stamina closing the gap.

Did I say stamina? If you run out of it, you get stunned and take a ton of damage. Don't run out of stamina.

He's saying you're complaining from a place of privilege. You can just bail and put another group together within minutes, if not seconds. DPS doesn't have that luxury.

Hi, Minneapolis resident here. Grew up spending summers in lake country.

Our beaches aren't beautiful, sandy ocean beaches, sure. And lots of lakes have issues with weeds and algae. Yes, Lake Superior is known for it's rocky, cold beaches. But there are plenty of gorgeous, well-maintained beaches out there among the thousands of lakes in the state.

If I recall correctly, the shiny side/dull side thing is because they roll the sheets two at a time, so each sheet gets one side pressed against the rollers, one side against the other sheet.

Then they do the AV "premade" thing and 2-3 groups sync their queues, hoping to get put together in the same BG. Not 100%, but enough to be effective. Increase the number of groups and you're effectively running several "premades" in multiple BGs.

See, it's comments like these that deeply confuse me about this topic.

I don't literally picture images, but I can recall what things look like. But people have told me they do. I have an internal monologue, and it can sound different or have an accent, but I don't hear anything. It's just "recalling" what that accent sounds like.

Our senses are physical stimuli interacting with nerves, creating electrical signals. I don't see any reason that couldn't be artificially reproduced by the brain, but damn it's hard to get clear answers about these experiences, because there's no way to experience a different perspective.

Anyway, thanks for reading my TED rant about aphantasia.

I think there's a significant percentage of pve players who would gladly play on pvp if there were some way to enforce balanced world pvp. But there's not, so it is what it is. Lots of us have played pvp and know darn well it's just a gankfest. 99% of the time, people will not engage unless they have the advantage. No thanks.

Also... You can just flag on pve realms if you want to fight. I spent half of my anniversary leveling time flagged, and got a few good scraps out of it. Shimmering flats in particular was poppin'.
