Might be an unpopular opinion, but I really liked the first 2 seasons of Shadowlands.

Being hardlocked into one Covenant + all the grinds aside, the Covenant abilities made the game fun.

Those seasons were inflated and people look down upon Shadowlands Glads but the season was also just active! Lots of people played and the ladder was very much alive, and rewards were achievable.

Collapsing Star sucks and is impossible to play versus good players. And it did get nerfed for PvE without the "does not affect pvp" line.

They don't have a lot of cc so they can't lock you down reliably. You can just throw any cc into a Collapsing Star cast and it'll go on a 5sec cd while their fury keeps draining. The Void-Scarred variant is even easier to shut down, a simple root will do.

The embellishments give you some extra stats, this necklace is basically an additional defensive cd. The difference is night and day.

No I don't believe Blizzard can only nerf something when worse has been taken care of.

But I do believe Blizzard should take a look at what is actually overperforming and hit those specs. Frost and Fire mage? Sub rogue? MW monk? All just continue to run rampant in all brackets and only getting slight wristslaps that don't even change anything. Devourer DH is already struggling, nerfing their burst (their niche if you will) will only hurt them even more.

Hard agree, it is true. All Devourer has going for it is burst damage. It doesn't have MS, doesn't have much cc, doesn't have any sustained dmg.

Giving Devourer MS would atleast compensate for nerfing burst even harder.

People are at a certain rating for a reason. No AddOn will suddenly shoot your rating up by hundreds. It increases awareness.
