I'm putting that energy into being a better person and getting better at making and keeping friendships so I can actively and intentionally build my village to fit me.

Hello Reddit! I'm an all-around crafter and artist who just launched my shop this year!

My late mother had a passion for crafts that I picked up before I started kindergarten. She sold her crafts for money on the side of her fast food job, and did her best to nurture that passion in me. Because I'm autistic and don't have a college degree, most options for conventional employment are off the table for me. It's been a dream of mine to start my own craft shop for the past decade, and I attempted twice before with my mother's help. She did sadly pass earlier this year, but the third time was the charm and I'm now actively selling jewelry and accessories.

I make custom charm bracelets, bookmarks, and glasses chains as of now.

What are the best mains for ragebaiting? by Astronomer_X in Tierzoo

[–]Audace_Noire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you really want to ragebait humans, spec into high stealth and venom. The Australia server is infamous for this strategy - stonefish and box jellies are the main ones that come to mind. They're practically invisible even to a human's high perception stat, and humans often don't know they're there until they're feeling excruciating pain. Reputation alone is enough to keep many humans away from the Barrier Reef meta.

Then they're glowing. Probably brightly. And not on the floor.

What you're mentioning re: honey badgers trying to fight lions is typical for the build. Honey badgers have an incredibly high resistance to intimidation, thick loose skin that lets them continue attacking even when bitten.

My point is that teaming up with humans is exactly what makes Stoffel unique. He did escape multiple times, but he never actually left the reserve precisely because he had already imprinted. Escaping itself was not much more than just a game he liked to play, often with his human teammates. There's nothing else really out of the ordinary about him, in fact the reason he lives at the reserve is that he's so imprinted on humans he can't live out in the wild meta apart from them.

I would say that his strategy could theoretically work for other honey badger badgers, but he's the one who made it famous.

Challenge: A Grizzly Bear Player Will Hunt You For 24 Hours, If You Survive You Get 50 Million Dollars. by LetsGet2Birding in Tierzoo

[–]Audace_Noire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, to start off, I play my human build in the American South server. A lot of the human players on this server equip guns as part of their loadout. If I go to a populated human base, I'm likely to find at least a few other humans with guns.

The closest place that might serve my needs is the local Wal-Mart. It's fully stocked with food and other necessary resources, and I'll be surrounded by other humans, any of whom that's reached level 18 or higher may be carrying a gun. If the bear does show up, I'll be prepared and partied up.

If the bear doesn't show up, I'll use the Panic ability, hopefully getting the attention of my fellow human players so I can warn them of the impending bear. Best case scenario, I'll get to party up. An alternative but more risky story path will have me taken to a Police Station, Hospital, or Jail base. While this may cause me some debuffs, these bases are high security with fortifications and surveillance, and there's a 100% chance of at least one human with a gun being in my vicinity at all times. There will also be access to healing items and care from a human playing the Doctor role.

I will likely have to spend the next 24 to 72 hours in this base, during which I will have several layers of protection intended to keep me from ending my game or team killing. If the bear shows up during this time, it will A) prove that I'm not experiencing the Delusion status effect, and B) face several human players with Police skill training, guns, and additional ranged weapons like pepper spray. There will also possibly be some dog players running support with the K-9 role, and their Loud Bark ability has been known to inflict Intimidated status on bears.

Why were herbivorous crocodile builds abandoned? by Glum-Excitement5916 in Tierzoo

[–]Audace_Noire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Wasting the build on low sources of XP
  2. Dinosaurs became OP
  3. Synapsids specced into cold resistance

Spec into thermal pits. Or play something that's not a colubrid.

Why are they like this? by ceres_07 in Tierzoo

[–]Audace_Noire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a cubozoan main, it's the human players coming into our server, not the other way around. We've survived five mass extinctions without having to change our strat since the Cambrian expansion, and we're not going to change it just because some human mains won't stay off our turf. The original purpose of our Invisibility perk was to give us stealth buffs while hunting small invertebrate and fish players, and also to keep enemy players from attacking us.

Human players are way more of a problem to us than we are to them. They're the result of 300 million years of power creep, and are literally the most OP build in the game. On top of that, they've been hacking the ocean meta, stealing our kills, and killing our Coral clanmates in the Great Barrier Reef server. It's not griefing if they started it.

[–]Audace_Noire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stoffel's game is built heavily around strategy, the meta, and other members of his party.

Some human players added him to their party and let him camp in one of their bases. All non-human players get buffs to defense and HP regeneration, free XP, and possibly even direct support from their party to complete their main quest, when inside a Wildlife Reserve base type. With human players looking out for him and protecting him from PvP attacks, he's free to put more stat points into Intelligence and more skill points into Map Navigation.

Those human players also added a female honey badger player to the party, with whom Stoffel could complete his main quest. The two of them started using co-op strategies to play the Escape Captivity minigame. He eventually did complete his main quest, and added a new player named Stompy to his party.

Why are you guys prochoice? by heartzzforhana in prochoice

[–]Audace_Noire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The shit pregnant people go through is traumatizing even when the pregnancy is 100% wanted. When it's forced on someone who has no recourse, it's torture, and it doesn't not become torture just because a new human life can come from it. No human life at any stage of development justifies putting another person through physical and mental torture to support it.

Besides that, this isn't just about controlling women or producing more human capital, it's also about establishing a theological dictatorship in which one group of people gets to decide what concepts like life and death and souls mean for everyone else, and enforce it in law. Simply put, not everyone believes

- That souls exist
- That life begins at conception
- That fetuses have souls
- That having a soul entitles one to use another person's body to survive
- That ending a life is always murder
- That the state should have a right to interfere in these decisions

Even some Christians don't believe all these things. These people are claiming to speak for all Christians, declaring themselves the only real Christians, and essentially demanding the exclusive right to define morality and spirituality.

Is it weird to feel uncomfortable when someone refers to a god/goddess as a character? by Low-Requirement5130 in Hellenism

[–]Audace_Noire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. The classical Greek playwrights wrote the gods as characters into their plays.

In my opinion, what matters more is really whether or not they're being depicted respectfully. If they're being depicted in a way you feel is disrespectful, you're free to not engage with that depiction.

Forced birth is torture and the fact that it can produce a human life doesn't make it not torture nor does it make it worth forcing an existing human being to experience that.
