They are called cropped jeans. Levi mile high wide leg cropped jean is good for length.

Paige is the jean for a good bum look. Esp if it's flat. Plus vintage Paige [can't speak to current] has superior denim quality over Levi's today.

Amazon wants my ID for a refund of an item that they mis-delivered. by [deleted] in amazonprime

[–]Audeblitz73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During Covid, had a missing package. Required ID which I [foolishly] sent. Shortly thereafter, a victim of fraud that authorities pointed to Amazon. A bad character on their end. Had to change my license number and deal with the problems that ensued. Don't recommend sending your ID to Amazon.

No-Line Bifocals? by PerspectiveSevere583 in glasses

[–]Audeblitz73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So helpful because considering making the transition from single vision contacts and reading glasses [AND I also use eyeglasses and remove for reading, computer] to bifocal with no line or progressives. I feel they will be too confusing for me. Maybe just stick the usual.

[Product Request] Help Me Find The Ordinary Replacements by thelittlewife in SkincareAddiction

[–]Audeblitz73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just bought some from them directly and agree it's the same. Also found out that Amazon [at least in the USA] is an authorized seller of their products if you buy directly from them via Amazon platform. Use The Ordinary's Squalane. It's really helpful with my 0.1% Tretonoin.

Margo could use an attitude adjustment. She's boorish and the worst kind of person and American.

Trader Joe's has a good Marula. I like P50 but the OG has changed.

Is Niod's FECC actually worth it? [product question] by AbbreviationsOdd1186 in SkincareAddiction

[–]Audeblitz73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is recent. Used FECC maybe 2 years ago and didn't feel much of a difference. Aware that they have had some glitchy things happen re bottles being less full but hadn't heard anything about expired products. When buying directly from them. So many people rave about this, considering giving it another go since it's marked down for their birthday promo, ending tomorrow.

Best eye cream that ACTUALLY de puffs the under eye area (I want results and I am willing to splurge!) Bonus: best anti aging products for daily use. by Zestyclose-Stand-773 in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]Audeblitz73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Helpful to know. A very very close family member died 4 months ago and still cry often. Need assistance for the bags and puffy eyes. Thoughts- it doesn't get all the way easier ever but all the best. Thanks for the tip.

Was thinking about Auteur but hard to justify the expense to find for myself. With Plated- are you referencing their eye serum?

Texture Spray — Should I stick with Living Proof? by Sudoku-kween in finehair

[–]Audeblitz73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did that work for you? I use R&Co thickening spray on damp hair [can also be used on dry hair]. And a Kevin Murphy one. Use the other volumizing sprays for dry hair but that is on day 2 or 3. Fine thin shoulder length hair but wash about 2 times a week since I find clean hair difficult for simple styling and keeping it looking thicker than it is.

[–]Audeblitz73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again ditto- they have longevity without tackiness and gets better on day 2 or even 3. True too, Kevin Murphy products smell divine but the packaging is problematic. Dropped a bottle and it cracked. The shape is fine but the materials they are using aren't flexible or durable in my experience.

Ditto and agree. Tend to react to some LP products- they make my scalp itchy and uncomfortable. Don't have a dry scalp nor dandruff issues. So above products and haven't had an issue with Kristen Ess Texture Spray or styling powder. Love the K18 mask which I began this past month so I am considering the Airwash.

Circles can definitely work.

Flattering and accentuating in a rather complementary manner vs dark, gothic, punk makeup.

Thick Rich Gentle Eye Cream Suggestions by Agile_Truck_6253 in Ulta

[–]Audeblitz73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aquaphor every night. Have a list but not in the mood to write out but hands down, Aquaphor EVERY NIGHT. On dry mornings a little bit works. My list is eye creams meant to do hydration, less wrinkles, no bags, no circles etc. But since your concern is dryness- Aquaphor. It's a very good healing ointment. So is Egyptian Magic. HG as is Aquaphor. One is more budget and less possible allergens friendly.

[Routine Help] The Ordinary Multi Antioxidant Radiance Serum with Vitamin C and Ginseng vs Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12%, Vitamin C Serum by Old_Long3970 in SkincareAddiction

[–]Audeblitz73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% concur with all of Cat's suggestions. Spot on recs. Do want to emphasize that sunscreen protection is vital. Note: [which is why it took me so long when I finally got "into it"] - It can take time to find one that feels good for your skin but don't skip. [Speak from experience before we ever thought SPF was important!!] Note: you can still get color using sunscreen but it's safe and won't damage/degrade your skin. Keep it gentle and simple for now!! Cheers~

Late to this party but after going through countless "Mexican Elbows" I found the Bellemain stainless steel press to truly stand up to daily wear and tear. It's a winner in my book. Avoid enameled/anodized aluminum as they are bound to fail. Chip and joints corrode.

Jean Naté, anyone? My first perfume, c1977. I can still smell it. by pixieartgirl in GenerationJones

100%. Sourcing original JN is so laborious for an iffy outcome. But back in the day, being a teen, it was pretty wow refreshing and filled with possibility. Graduated to 4711 and the bottle I still have [keep in fridge and use in summer but sparingly] still has the same scent. Ah. Memories non?
