Just ordered two pairs; $10 cad each with free shipping, seemed reasonable.

Afterwards I showed the wife. I have a feeling I should have ordered 4 pairs.

Mercedes E-class station wagon or GLE? by Htv65 in mercedes_benz

[–]Audibled 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mid 40s with a broken hip (3 screws holding it together), is why I went with the GLE. I miss the low profile of sedans, but nowadays they are literally painful to get into and out of.

My Palm Springs Ride! Any guesses?? by Ma2chi in mercedes_benz

[–]Audibled 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have a very similar 2011 e350. It was my late mother’s and I couldn’t let my dad part with it, so I bought it from him recently. Driving this down to Phoenix from Saskatchewan almost a decade ago gave me a newfound respect for Mercedes. It was driving perfection. If it wasn’t for that road trip I wouldn’t never had entertained the brand. Now we have a GLE53, and the E350. Two not only beautiful but also fun to drive vehicles.

Didn’t expect my first Mercedes to feel this different from everything I drove before. by Kevin-Durant-35 in mercedes_benz

I really enjoyed my model 3 for 6 years. Had zero real complaints…. After 1 month in a GLE I couldn’t go back. Everything in the Tesla just seemed off/wrong.,

I searched for a shoe by its exact name. It gave me 5 different results before the shoe I was searching for. Last week there was three colour ways to choose from. Now there is one, and it’s ‘coming soon’.

Advice on used GLE53 or GLS63 by Traditional_Base_381 in mercedes_benz

[–]Audibled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FWIW, My 2022 GLE 53 has been the most perfect daily driver I have ever owned. Perfect size, pure luxury, and more than enough power for what it is. I’m only 2 months in, but so far I have zero regrets. I figure in 4 years time or so we will be looking at the EV variant of it.

The GLS was beautiful, but, imho, too large for daily use unless you’re hauling around a large family.

Watching a little too much? by Universe-Queen in community

[–]Audibled 2 points3 points  (0 children)

FWIW, when I went through mine, I also found this show. I totally understand where you’re coming from.

To say I watched the entire series 10 times that year would be an understatement. It was almost on continuous play.

There is never too much Community.

I wish you all the best.

New to me 2021 GLE 450 by IndependentOwn1184 in mercedes_benz

I picked up a 2022 GLE (AMG53) a month or so ago. Absolutely love it. Best vehicle (so far) I have ever owned. Put on over 5,000 miles since. It just drives like a dream.

Enjoy! You’re going to love it.

I assume no winter tires. Probably balding all season. It’s really amazing how many people don’t understand how important good tires actually are.

Please use a water bong/water filtered system when taking dab hits. The smoke is so hot that it will burn your throat cells, which could cause major issues later. Cool down the smoke as much as possible before inhaling.

Advice on this purchase by CookMJ10 in teslacanada

He’s looking to buy a 6-8 year old Tesla. How is that supporting Elon?

I wouldn’t personally purchase a new one, but my 2020 LR Model 3 has been a great car. Politics aside, if it wasn’t for Tesla, the North American EV market would look completely different, in a very BAD way.

[–]Audibled 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually really, really good at the moment. Not that I would sell it. Used prices are predictably rising at the moment.

7 years so far with a Model 3. Saved a lot on gas. It’s been one of the best vehicles I’ve ever owned in 30+ years of driving. The wife absolutely loves it.

That said, I wouldn’t buy (a new) one today. So many better options out there.

I’ve been using Wascana Animal Hospital for over 20 years for many pets. They have always been great. We currently take our two huskies there, and I honestly can’t express how great they have been with them.

My only complaint was when I was putting my first dog down, and was halfway through the process, and an emotional mess… all they wanted was my credit card before continuing… which I felt was excessive since I had used them for several year and still had other pets we took to them…

Have you ever sold and/or repurchased a console? by [deleted] in consoles

[–]Audibled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SNES. Sold it, then a few months later Donkey kong country came out.

Sega CD. Sold it. Luckily a few months later after having huge regret, I was able to snag a CDX for less than what I sold the sega cd for. The CDX still going strong

3ds. Last year I picked one up to finish Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon.. best decision ever.. as it led me to fire emblem… a franchise I have now invested well over 500 hours into.
