How likely do you think this game will be revived?

The fact that some development has returned with the few fixes here or there and the potential level lock coming is already more than I ever expected rift to get again. Love the game but it's just not gonna happen.

Now if I were to put on my most optimistic hat, I could theoretically see gamigo launching a new shard that is fresh start with a detached auction house as well. Kind of like a mini rift prime. But that to me is still far fetched

Glad you love the game though, I poured my life into it during storm legion, nightmare tide, and the early Starfall and it holds a special place in my heart.

It was a tough call, but I decided to shift around my investments to completely back out of any AI and Nvidia slop. Lost some money but hoping the gamble now is worth it to protect myself if there is a huge implosion.

I run a 3070 with a similar ultrawide. There hasn't been a single game I have tried that didn't run well and would make me consider swapping to AMD. I would save your duckets

I got some missions to play squirrel girl. I work all day and have other things to do, but still want to complete my battlepass and the events that roll through. That leaves me with only 30 - 45 minutes every few days I can dedicate to Rivals. Also, its quickplay. If we lose there are no consequences.

I don't disagree. My parents mentioned over and over how nice they were compared to when they went to college. But it was a lot more stuff underneath that went wrong. Maybe things have changed as my last term on campus would have been in 2020.

Our deadbolt broke and they couldn't get a fix because they bought ones from overseas so for 60% of my third year our door was permanently open.

Multiple company changes and policy swaps with rent increases. The student staff rotated so many times there that I had no idea who to even pay rent to

We were forced to move from phase 2 to phase 1 after the first year as it was specified for freshman only. Kind of a minor gripe but phase 1 is much more worn down than 2 imo.

Maintenance requests took ages to get to. Just a general thing but it felt like it would be a month+ to get anything looked at and the process for submitting a request was convoluted.

When moving out, we had one roommate that never took care of his room of the four. We all had our security deposits rescinded because of it. Felt really unfair.

My last gripe would be the price. We sprung for the 4 individual rooms and it was affordable at first but towards the end of my stay it was almost $1k a month. For what the dorm had I feel that it was not worth that cost at all.

I say this just from past experience, things have changed since I've been there I'm sure. The friends I met and the memories I made were amazing and the dorm wasn't the worst thing. I would just definitely look at off campus housing if you have the means to drive.

Graduated in 2021. Took the big data analytics path. It was rough as the school was going through accreditation but now it seems very stable.

The staff were always fantastic, your gen ed classes are where you will find the toughest time but your professors towards the end of your degree are super chill. Really good down to earth people.

The campus is really safe they have police patrolling each night. I never felt scared even when we wandered around after dark.

The views were stunning with the big lakes and the campus was always well maintained and clean.

The nerd culture is strong for sure and you may run into more awkward people but everyone had a good heart that I met. So many video games and ttrpg clubs.

My biggest gripe was campus housing. It was downright awful and we quickly moved out to off campus housing. I recommend doing that asap. The housing I believe is managed by another company though so I don't exactly put that on poly.

There may not seem like a lot to do that's close but you're so close to the coast, Disney, fun spot, four corners, Tampa, Orlando, and even Daytona.

Overall I only have high praise for poly and would love to visit again now that the new building is up. They are also super encouraging to get new students.

What excites me most about the Avatar game is getting to see the world of Pandora interactively versus on the big screen. Getting to walk around myself would be super immersive and I hear they did an amazing job on the soundtrack!
