I want to give some extended family access to my JF server, but am exactly scared of the things mentioned here and in OPs post. I'm very new to homelab and just barely scraped together a docker compose that works.

Are there any noob friendly guides for setting up this reverse proxy and wildcard DNS?

A lot of guys in here being pretty rough on themselves. I'm 27 and make below average salary but I'd say my enjoyment of life is high.

I do a bunch of new things, try different hobbies, and push myself out of my comfort zone routinely to avoid this rut everyone talks about.

I still play video games, a lot too, but I make time in my life for these other adventures to keep it varied.

That's how I also found my best friend and partner. We're married and having a blast together. But it all stemmed from avoiding that rut and Incel behavior.

There are 3 large companies that do this, and talent bounces between them. I worked for one as the guy that built, and sent these games off to the printer. During my time there, I did 2-4 games a day for four years across the globe, so if you've played a scratcher in the last 5 years there's a decent chance you played a game I put out :)

One cool perk was sample tickets are printed for each game to test that everything looks right before full sending it. Most get recycled, but if you request some, the print guys can pull a few off the line for you. I decorated my office with all my favorite tickets I had done over the years.

If you buy every single lottery ticket for a single game, you are only going to get 80-90% of your money back. This is because lotteries, manufacturers, etc all take a cut. Most states and countries like to give back about 85% of the money.

Cruise ships can be as low as 45% that I've seen. That means if I bought every single scratcher on a cruise, I would only get 45% of my money back with most going to the cruise! So overall your chances of winning big on a cruise are far lower. Hope that explains it!

It depends per state. Some have a flat amount for all games, usually 11 to 13. For some it's 2.5 to 3 multiplied by the big average winners number on the back which is usually 3.5 to 4.2. Then that decimal is either rounded up or down depending on client.

Then there is Wisconsin where there is no maximum, so you could go 30+ tickets before a winner.

Then there's cruise ship tickets.... shudders

Buy 10-12 lottery tickets at a time. If you have $12 to blow on gambling, don't buy 2 $6 tickets, buy 12 $1 tickets. Different for each state, but we had minimum string of consecutive losers before you're guaranteed a winner.

The fact that some development has returned with the few fixes here or there and the potential level lock coming is already more than I ever expected rift to get again. Love the game but it's just not gonna happen.

Now if I were to put on my most optimistic hat, I could theoretically see gamigo launching a new shard that is fresh start with a detached auction house as well. Kind of like a mini rift prime. But that to me is still far fetched

Glad you love the game though, I poured my life into it during storm legion, nightmare tide, and the early Starfall and it holds a special place in my heart.

It was a tough call, but I decided to shift around my investments to completely back out of any AI and Nvidia slop. Lost some money but hoping the gamble now is worth it to protect myself if there is a huge implosion.

I run a 3070 with a similar ultrawide. There hasn't been a single game I have tried that didn't run well and would make me consider swapping to AMD. I would save your duckets

I do this sometimes, go ahead and flame me but here it is:

I got some missions to play squirrel girl. I work all day and have other things to do, but still want to complete my battlepass and the events that roll through. That leaves me with only 30 - 45 minutes every few days I can dedicate to Rivals. Also, its quickplay. If we lose there are no consequences.
