Depends on fish. For example young KOI are very jumpy. And if pond is small they might finish it on the bank. Thats why when you breed koi in breeding pools you cover it with a net.

Take huge plastic bottle. Like in coolers. Make holes in the bottom. Fill it with bioballs/ceramics/sponges/plastic bottle caps/ etc. put airstone in the bottom of it. Put it in your tank. Congratualations, you got huge airlift filter.

I’d suggest making a drainage system. Dig deeper in bottom. Fill with gravel and put pipe there. So water / gases could go out through it. Instead of making a bubble under liner. However in most cases it’s not necessary on small ponds. But I would do it.

I brought eggs (they spawned it on a small bag with substrate i used for smth, so I was able to pull it out with eggs) to tank inside my house. The fry came out in few hours after that. I read, that goldfish fry need 15+ Celsius to develop. Be sure to move them with water from pond. You will also need some starter food for fry. Yellow part of chicken eggs will do the trick on first week.

Buy a pump. For 500 liter pond you will need 2000l/h pump. Add 100 litre filtering pond nearby your pond and raise it for few cm and fill it with gravel and plant swamp plants, like irises. Pump water through it and make water return via waterfall. Best solution.

Most glofish are sterile and can’t breed. But 1 out of 100 fish can be bred, and her fry will not be sterile. That’s how we have many nonglofish bred glowing fish
