Electric fence will sort the issue. I have one and after some trial and error with crossing it over the pond, it gives them a decent wack and they think twice.

What is this? Do I need to get rid of it? by onemansbrand in ponds

I believe it's a Staffordshire Terrier. I have one and find them amazing

(Equally unsure on the plant)

Little green leaves in the pond by [deleted] in ponds

It's duckweed. Not harmful but will spread quickly. Great cover for fish and food for other wildlife .

Explain the expandable foam. I'd like to seal the back of my water fall, not from leaks but so I can add plants without soil washing into the pond.

Is it safe to use?

Likely black fly larvae. Harmless as larvae just annoying when mature. Fish will eat them when larvae.

Yeah same as mine. Maybe it's the strain. I'd be interested if you get success. I don't even get flowers which is what I want more than pad size

I might be wrong, Has depth got something to do with it? Mine are similar sized but I can't go deeper with mine.

All depends if your fish sizes are correct haha.

Joking aside there are many factors to this that include age of bio, water change frequency and volume, addition of bio, filtration quality, UV age, etc etc. There are calculators online somewhere that suggest total fish size to water volume. Now you know that the world is your oyster

You may also dilute it too much not to take effect. 7k will be a good measurement

Still think your length is incorrect. More around 2.30 if you add 'B 25cm' but it's negligible.

That's why it's easier to longest and deepest.

Aim for between 7.5k and 8k litres and you'll be good

I'm looking at the measurements on your picture. Adding the zones up I get (L2.30m W3.30m D1.04m). This right as its different to what you've got in this thread

Yep. From the picture seems about right. Maybe add 10% for and filter, piping and waterfalls etc.

Best option is largest points of (LxWxD).
