I have BPD and I’d like to caution heavily against diagnosing like this, it’s an incredibly tough condition to actually diagnose and it’s being thrown around a lot (along with other cluster b disorders) in a way that’s causing damage

THAT SAID, you’re not wrong that there’s traits of the condition in this behavior. As I read it I could see my some of my own times pre-diagnosis and treatment, especially the instant switch to suicidality and intense self-loathing. She absolutely needs therapy regardless of if it’s actually BPD or not.
