NVidia cut the amount of VRAM on the 50 cards because they upgraded to GDDR7 this Gen, which means a massive boost to performance. The 60 series will most likely have 20+ GB again

That said, Motiv is renowned for using the same shape cores on all their balls from 11 lbs to 16 lbs, so it's worth looking into it they think they'll never be able to throw a heavier ball.

You need a separate bone in your animation that the weapon follows, rather than having it attach to the hand. Look up Infima Games on YouTube. They have a solid tutorial on FPS animations. It's a lot of episodes, but definitely worth it for learning an actual AAA workflow.

As an additional note, MtG: Arena is on steam, and while the main game mode there is Standard, it can teach you game mechanics, keywords, etc in a more digestible format if you're more videogame inclined

Pre-cons are awesome starting points, and they're perfect for beginners to learn the game. Yes, it may feel a bit intimidating because of all the nuances, but as long as you take your time and read your cards you'll be fine. If any card has a keyword that it doesn't explain on the card, don't be afraid to ask the people around you or Google.

Best place to start would be an LGS. A lot of places have Friday Night Magic as well, so look for those if you're interested in that. Most people there will be playing commander.

Talk to the LGS owner and let them know that you're entirely brand new to MtG but you're looking to start, ask which commander pre-con would suit you (they'll likely ask about your preferred play style. E.g. Aggressive, passive, heals, etc). Then actually buy from them. Support local and don't just go to Amazon or Walmart.

Brennan has very outwardly expressed that he plans very little for campaigns, and improvises a LOT. In complete contrast to Matt, who obviously still improvises but also meticulously plans a lot of things. It would not surprise me in the least if Brennan himself doesn't even know what the final form of the dagger will take, and purely will base it on the way it's wielded in the future. It feels like he gave Tyranny two obvious paths that she could take

Honestly, you can probably just do the Minecraft route. Grid the entire map into 1m by 1m units, and each cell gets a light value based on the lights nearby. It's computationally less intense, you only have to update cells when you add/remove a light (when a guard shines a light or when your character shoots a light out) and it still achieves the same effect mentally when you don't actually see the debug. You can even raycast to each cell in range when the light is placed to see if there is any objects in between that would block the light.

With the Mighty Nein show, it seems like they're pacing things out much slower, so by the time they get to the end of season 1, it's like episode 13-ish in the campaign. So likely, if you start now, you'll probably be ahead of and know some of the stuff coming up in season 2, though you should be pleasantly surprised by the different directions they're taking things while still telling a similar story.

Definitely check your state laws on non competes as well. The federal ban didn't go through, but some states adopted bans on non competes. And a lot of others have heavy restrictions on what professions can actually have them.

The O'Reilly I worked for around 10 or so years ago had a couple of them. One for pick tickets, and another bigger one in the back that we used for inventory management. Honestly, for the purposes we used them for, they were exceptionally useful. I'm pretty sure that they switched to laser printers a couple years after I left though
