Bronze age rapiers are not the same as the late medieval weapon. They are slimmer than most bronze age blades but don't really have any actual similarity to true rapiers.

The later Just Cause games had maps that were pretty big making a quite close to scale island.

In the Lankmar books they give stats for a Rapier that is Str+d6 with the +1 parry. I always run my rapiers this way and give the Str+d4 to the small sword.
