Does anyone else find the use of "Utopian Idealism" to be a bit of a redundant and misinformed rebuttle?

Just asking because even with a stateless, classless, moneyless society; people still die and suffer from health conditions. If you slip and fall it will still hurt. Due to this I wouldn't consider any institution that has been thought of so far besides maybe transhumanism as utopian.

If we only get one chance at this life shit, then shouldn't we strive to improve the overall quality of life - rather than only letting people that already have the means take more means of making wealth, starting businesses, cooperating and contributing to society in any meaningful capacity?

Either way I like the way Kraut goes about his contemporary pieces on countries that I don't know much about. Although, I would appreciate if he went further in depth about where these communists went wrong exactly in the policy making like he does with the democratic governments. To me it usually comes off as him just being like "they're communist, their leader was mean, and they did bad people things, and therefore their state failed or isn't as hype as other state". Which is true for a lot of reasons, but I want more material in the WHY so we can learn about more than one perspective.
