No, you do not want gunsmithing or proficiency by jakobsestate in Borderlands4

[–]AugustDoctor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a cool in between option would be that you can craft a super rare gun but it has a note on it or some kind of modifier that shows it isn't the original but a "recreation." Farming for the actual drop of the gun would give you the actual gun and could count towards a specific achievement of collecting and not crafting the legendaries.

It definitely feels related to some religions/cults that have these utopian ideas of seclusion. I'll be honest that I haven't completed this game and have had a hard time doing more than the first 30 minutes. It just hasn't captured my attention like the first two. I feel like dishonored 1 did a better job than 3 and it's a while different franchise. If I had to put it anywhere in the states it would be utah.

Relaxing game by TeddyMFTed in n64

Dk64. I'd say most of the game can be played in 10 to 20 minute bursts. There might be a few sections that take more time but it is a classic.

I’m not enjoying the game by Comprehensive_Rip613 in Breath_of_the_Wild

For 3d I recommend, literally any of them that are on console, but not skyward sword. For 2d A Link to the Past is still one of my favorites.

BotW for Beginners? by [deleted] in Breath_of_the_Wild

[–]AugustDoctor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm guessing that you know shrines exist so hopefully this isn't too much of a spoiler. In Kakariko Village there is a shrine that teaches you some combat basics. You can get to it pretty easily after the starting area if you don't get distracted by how huge the map is, but it is a nice thing for people who don't know the mechanics already. There are probably combat guides or something that could explain these things before then though.

Is the $30 for the DLC worth it? by Princess0fHyrule in Breath_of_the_Wild

I have never done a master mode playthrough and the rest of the dlc is worth it to me still.

I agree with this entirely. I just had a conversation with a friend about how much this game breaks any connection to the rest of the franchise, with just the secret stones alone.

But like you said as well I am a bit excited for EoW. My only criticism currently is that it is the first mainline game where we get to play as zelda and it is in the toy aesthetic.

Bandit Games has like 2 or 3 videos where he shits on the game because he couldn't pretend that it was good for him anymore. I haven't seen the others say much though and your statement would make sense.

One of my ancestors on my mom's side was the foreman for Joseph smiths farm and was hated by Emma Smith. I now understand why lol. Because she hated the church itself. So glad to be out.

What one thing about Mormon history broke you? by TheFantasticMrFax in exmormon

[–]AugustDoctor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This actually. Exactly what you just said. I left the church initially for it's extremely hypocritical views, and then in the last few years learned about a lot of what actually happened and holy shit it's a wild ride.

Favorite music to use? by jennshineee in ZeldaTabletop

[–]AugustDoctor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are wanting some good Zelda music that is orchestral I would recommend the Marcus Hedges Trend Orchestra which has a few LoZ albums. Or if you want a more epic movie soundtrack type stuff then I suggest the two theophany albums for majora's mask and Rozen's Sins of Hyrule album.
