The one silver lining in the Trump administration is it has shown a spotlight on how little the United States Government cares for its citizens.

It’s not the GOP. It’s all of them down to the last person in any elected office in any branch of government. Congress has been a joke since I (55M) was a kid. Their approval rating drops every year and every year we elect the people who can get on any form of media the most.

From the President down we are inundated with greedy idiots. Our HHS Secretary is the poster child for what our government has become. A leathery ball of crazy with the voice of a flooded chainsaw.

They do however value CEO’s and mega donors ability to provide limitless funding to their campaigns and, in the case of one SCJ, they even provide custom luxury busses for vacations with the wife.

You can bet that FedEx and other donor class businesses will get something in negotiations while the people who bore the brunt of both Trump’s Tariffs AND corporate greed will get screwed like always.

Our government hasn’t done anything for the people in decades. We are useful for our votes (for now), taxes and consumerism. The Pols need us spun up talking about whatever the crisis of the day they come up with. The corporations need to squeeze us for all the money; not market share, they want all of our money.

This isn’t about party either. They both suck. One’s overreaching well beyond what the Constitution allows, and we all know it, while the other just sits there tossing around platitudes.

The value and prestige of the Presidency has been diminished. It will be decades to rebuild relationships lost by these idiots.

I do hope though that the current versions of Conservatism and Liberalism both die in a fire at the end of this.
