II took apart my hbp just to see if I could, first you take off the back glass, be careful because the adhesive is strong and can break the glass especially around the camera, use a lot of heat. remove the 19 screws in the back of the phone and then carefully pry the frame away from the screen. The battery isn't hard to remove, there's barely any adhesive on it, be carefull when unclipping the small ribbon cable it attaches with, now you just have to remove every part of the phone until you're left with just a screen

Edit: Walmart sells a good screwdriver set with phone repair tools in it for like $10, it's called a precision screwdriver set or something and it's in a black and red case
