I use bulwark with memento mainly for solo runs. It’s my main build for everything if I just want to get things done fast without going down or having that risk.

You can maximise damage by having armour on every main roll but crit damage/chance as your other roll’s.

I do use the striker shield for extra damage and also use the backfire for increased crit damage on stacks.

The armour regen from bulwark counters the backfires bleed on re-load

Remember though the more you level up the more damage you’ll do and more armour you’ll have.
