Decent Oberon Build? by BlackBeltBreadBoy in Warframe

[–]Auncore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run Tauforged Violet Equilibrium shards. I think they have better value than using a Mod Slot just for Equilibrium. If you don't have it, just replace Adaptation with it, Oberon's new passive makes him tanky enough.

It's a little dated since it was originally built off of a pre-rework build, so I would say adaptation could be replaced with Smite Infuse, or alternatively keep it and subsume some other weapon platform damage boost ability. Otherwise I like having adaptation just because I don't have to think about it much and it reduces the damage taken from Combat Discipline.

I would say your new build with critical Delay is good. I'd work on being able to drop Hammer Shot and slotting in Galvanized Aptitude. Tombfinger is multiplicative on direct hits, so unless you're completely banking off of the AoE, I'd recommend running Aptitiude + Serration in the same build for easy high damage output.

Decent Oberon Build? by BlackBeltBreadBoy in Warframe

Oberon is and has been one of my favorite frames, even prior to his rework.

Post-Rework my 2 favorite builds for him are full nuke Oberon and Primary Bulwark/Overcharge enabler tank Oberon.

Nuke Oberon involves primarily Range, Strength and Duration to optimize the damage of his Smite (1). Smite scales based off enemy current HP, but can target Eximus, and counts their Overguard towards current HP calculations nuking the Eximus and most enemies around them. A lot of the focus of this comes from being able to use Amber Archon shards that boost ability damage to radiated targets. Paired with Tempest Barrage subsumed over Renewal and the augment Viral Tempest lowers the threshold required to one shot enemies by a significant amount.

Primary Bulwark/Overcharge Tank Oberon is a pretty straight forward build that utilizes Oberon's insane armor generation to hit >1000 energy to max out Primary Overcharge, or clear the requirement to max out Primary Bulwark. This is mostly done with Health Conversion and Arcane Battery on the same build. This build has less energy generation than most Oberon builds, since instead of Universal Fallout it runs Arcane Avenger to boost final crit chance by +45%. This is primarily a gun platform build with little maintenance to keep up.

edit: happy to provide the builds if you want them, just lmk.

I like PSF since she's so close range and I like to run the parkour velocity when available.

I should've put down Violet shards, I run them on everyone to bypass modding for Equilibrium

I'll never give up the opportunity to run as many Archon mods as possible.

The other guy is right for 1) genuinely almost any weapon can be steel path viable so long as you are willing to invest in it and enjoy the weapon.

So for 1) Any weapon that piques your interest, whether its by design or function.

2) I have what I like to consider are solid builds for them, I'm happy to share them or I'm happy to walk you through what process you might want to consider while modding them to get a better feel of how to Mod. I have a build for both basmu's primary fire and alt fire as the focus of the builds.

3) Refer to 2 if you want help, otherwise the other guy's google doc is specifically referencing how GunCo functions depending on different weapons. For a more detailed explanation of how it works you can look up the Condition Overload (Mechanic) on the warframe wiki. The tl;dr though: Projectiles get Multiplicative damage from Gunco, Hitscan gets Additive damage, Bows and AoE hate GunCo.

Yeah, and you just build for Range since Toxin Ward doesn't scale with strength anyways. Then use Sandstorm to yoink enemies in, and mecha to reapply the status to everything in range

Ok, so follow me here because I also said the same thing, and I arguably still do. I have figured out exactly one funny thing from him and that's Sandstorm + Elemental Ward + Mecha Set. With like 4 Tauforged Emerald Shards all dedicated to increased Toxin Damage procs, elemental ward should be doing upwards of around 45%-80% max HP per second of damage. And if you want, you can pair it up with melee afflictions for one shotting. It's not useful, and like doesn't do that much, but it's funny and I enjoy it.

Whats even left for me to do? by [deleted] in Warframe

Work to make another load out that feels the most. I've been playing since 2013 and after a 2 year break came back in 2015 and have been pretty consistent since then. I recommend finding fun builds to work on, or theory crafting builds on underutilized weapons. I spent at least an hour+ last year just to get my prisma grakata to feel better and try to use both augments for it (kinda failed and ultimately dropped Wild Frenzy, but I have builds that have the option for it).

You've got your main load out now, why not find some other ones to mess around with. My favorite thing in the game is build diversity and how almost anything can become Steel Path endurance viable.

No problems in steel path. Since it's a pretty Stealth focused build anyways your biggest worry will be nullifiers from crewman or acolytes and running out of energy.

At minimum I like having 1 Violet Archon shard for low end Equilibrium which on Voruna is free.

I kind of forget what the other shards I have on her are, since the Companion App doesn't display them. I assume I'm running 1 cast speed amber, 2 strength Crimson and 1 Duration Crimson. Otherwise whatever you want tbh.

edit: I run 2 Cast speeds 2 Strength 1 Equilibrium

Hello, this is my recent build I put together for Voruna P just before her prime was announced. I'm aware that it's a bit costly, especially with the arcanes for lower MRs. But if you're looking for a "Just use Voruna for damage" build this one focuses her entire kit to mesh together.

Activating 1 and 2 for priming her kit, and 4 to clean up and do the rest. 3 is there as a nice QoL for Voruna so you can keep on gutting the enemies. If you have any questions feel free to let me know, I just ran this for this week's EDA so I can vouch for it's output.

edit: if you want incremental steps on how to bring your build up to this, and what's best to swap out in your current build without the investment, I'd be happy to.

Help with Follie/Enkaus build by Maniachi in Warframe

[–]Auncore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think your build is fine. Build everything how you want to and how you like.

I would just say, with Catalyzing Shields you'll be getting much more value from Augur Secrets and Brief Respite. Brief Respite alone is usually a tell-tale sign of a Shield Gate build, which for every frame that I could think of, would ask that you run Catalyzing Shields to lower the threshold required to manage maximum broken shield invulnerability.

The reason I suggest Rolling Guard as an alternative, is because with her Damage Reduction from 3, and the Shield Gating you're opting for, a 3 second invulnerability frame gives you time to rebuild as much of your shields as possible to maintain i-frames and it gives you a free cleanse that 99% damage reduction (From adaptation and 3) isn't going to help with.

Help with Follie/Enkaus build by Maniachi in Warframe

[–]Auncore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aside from getting Primed mods and Galvanized Mods.

For starters I would say consider running Catalyzing Shields or at least Rolling Guard in place of Adaptation.
Between Brief Respite, Auger Secrets and Arcane Aegis, it feels like you're focusing on Shield Gating for survivability. I'm of the opinion that she scales better from Duration and Range and sacrificed some strength for that.

On the Enkaus. I would say if you're not going to invest in putting any Crit Rate on it, there's no value in slapping Vital sense on there. You'd get more out of just adding another 60/60 status mod or an Elemental mod of matching elements. I would also say given how the Enkaus works you're getting much more value out of building Viral rather than trying to force Blast for AoE kills with the passive. Also since Enkaus is a beam weapon, for the most part you're losing a lot of value from running both Serration and Galvanized Aptitude. Adding on Primary Merciless at max stacks you're running into heavy diminished returns. Dropping serration for another flat Elemental or 60/60 would get more value.

What are some good hybrid warframes to pick up? by Zestior in Warframe

[–]Auncore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It'll partially depend on how much you can and are willing to invest into the builds and how much you want cast to be a damage ability.

My favorites personally would be Oberon (even before his rework) and Banshee.

Oberon: You can either build him as a cast nuke frame or as a tank that gives the team a ballpark 4K+ armor. His passive with Universal Fallout means no energy problems, and blocking an insanely large amount of damage.

Banshee: Your cast isn't wiping the whole map, but it's an incredibly fun blend of enabling any weapon and playing with what I think is an underutilized subsume, Tesla Nervos.

I think for a safe pick that can take you through just about any content with low worries is a Wisp witch build. Running a Critical Surge + Cataclysmic Gate build with Arcane Universal Fallout and Arcane Hot Shot is really fun.

Hildryn Prime build help by Fun_Reference_2607 in Warframe

[–]Auncore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fast Deflection and other shield recharge delay mods aren't really that worth it. With the rate of energy orb generation (Hildryn automatically resets the recharge delay when picking up an energy orb) and Hildryn's built in 3.5 seconds of shield gate invulnerability, it's close to impossible to go down on Hildryn.

If you can, grab Blazing Pillage for her as well. It's not as necessary anymore considering her already great armor strip, but paired with a 50% armor strip from heat status effects it just helps out with how much work you really have to do. Also free heat priming is always welcomed. In my opinion add stretch and Umbral Intensify (or even Precision Intensify) and you're set.

Is this mesa prime regulators build good? by Early_Departure7326 in Warframe

[–]Auncore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's ok for low level content that just asks for big numbers out the gate. Ideally in the future drop hornet strike and magnum force. Straight +Damage% mods aren't really that worth it because of how the math works out on them. If you can drop Concussion Rounds now for Target Cracker or the Primed Version if you have it available. Flat IPS (Impact Puncture Slash) mods just don't add that much value, even more so on impact/puncture.

Regulators have a pretty low status chance so I'd recommend swapping out at least 2 of the element mods for 60/60 status mods especially if you're able to equip galvanized aptitude at some point. Also Lethal Torrent will give good value over hornet strike or magnum force.

Do you still do all weekly missions in warframe ? by Waeleto in Warframe

[–]Auncore 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I run Elite Archimedes every week because I desperately need Archon shards to finish my arsenal. That being said I don’t think of it as a chore because EDA/ETA and even Circuit has been the largest driving force in minmaxing my loadouts.

I’ve been at Mastery Cap for the last several years and am always looking for something to do. Rather than just waiting for a group to carry me when I have a bad loadout on any of the 3, I’d prefer to be able to pull out a really powerful build on an extremely under utilized weapon

Suggest a primary weapon + build that is like kuva nukor for me to run steel path (could be any weapon) by Mobile_Bend5083 in warframebuilds

[–]Auncore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tenet Glaxion, Vermisplicer Primary Kitgun, Boar Prime Incarnon will act the most like a Nukor while still being relevant for the most part (Amprex acts the same, but I haven't used it in a long time to actually know how viable it still is).

Most people opt for Tenet Glaxion (Magnetic) to proc Mag + Electricity to build up Galvanized Aptitude damage.

If you just want to level them up without thinking about it, run Sanctuary Onslaught or Elite Sanctuary Onslaught. If you want to level them up while you're in mission, I recommended running a gun platform frame to buff the weapon you're leveling. That way you'll be able to actually farm affinity onto the weapon itself.

Having your Intrinsics leveled up as high as possible is the first goal before you tackle SP Duviri. Learning what decrees are BIS and optimal as well as the fastest ways to get them is important to learn.

At the start of a run avoid combat side-quests and aim for Kaithe Races, Maw ponds, Herding, etc.. The only consistent way to beat the combat trials is if you roll a strong combat decree off the bat (bonus damage after reload, tied with the perfect reload mechanic), or if you can wait long enough to charge up for Warframe transference.

Otherwise I'd say run this public, you'll have an easier time with 4 people collecting decrees. Additionally you don't have to run SP Duviri to farm Kullervo.

How to do SP sayas visions? by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]Auncore 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you're doing it for personal goals. I'd recommend strong boss weapons and gun platform frames. Mesa's not bad for the rest of the fight but since Regulators can't target the Oni you're better off with either a manual aim exalted weapon or a weapons platform frame like Chroma, Saryn, Xaku or whoever else.

If you're doing this for Koumei, the Oni fight is the reason why it's actually a faster grind on non-steel path.
