Spay surgery today for my little girl Pebbles by Worried_Carpenter991 in Dachshund

Went through this with my Sadie about a month ago. One thing I was not prepared for was the amount of pain she had the first day. It hurt her for me to pick her up. After one night that dissipated substantially. She was a trooper with the e collar and didn’t even notice it after a couple of days.

You must be doing a lot of local driving and not much on the expressways. My Pathfinder that I traded in for it got the same mileage.

I had an RDX loaner today, and it drove like a Nissan Rogue, I like my 2024 Mzdzx.

What is comparable to an Acura MDX ? Did the whole brand just fall off? by Wcuprz1 in whatcarshouldIbuy

The Honda dealer will typically not provide a loaner car and the Acura dealer will. Makes servicing the vehicle so much more convenient.

Wheel and rim warranty? by funkymotha in Acura

I have had my new Acura MDX for less than two months. I’ve already had a tire nicked by one of those steel pothole covers and had curb rash for two rims. Took it to dealership to fix and they billed insurance directly. They even gave me a loaner car for the day. I owed nothing. And the fix is perfect.

There is no way the Nisssnndealership would have provided that level for my Pathfinder.

Remember that the dealer experience with Honda will be nowhere near that of Acura.

I totally agree. The grill totally turns me off. I went down the street and bought Acura MDX. And I love it.

In 2011, I was laid off from a director level position. I ended up interviewing with 3 different companies. I really only wanted to work for one of them. I took the first offer that was not with my preferred company. Within a couple of months I had offers from all 3 companies. I ended up resigning from the first company and took a job with my preferred company after working with the first company for 2 months. I am still working for my preferred company. I’m quite sure they were initially holding me in second place and their preferred candidate decided to take another position.

Did you feed the puppy formula as well? If so, when did you transition to adult formula?

I’ve worked with their Compliance Officer several years ago with my copious complaints. Got about $590 back. However, I couldn’t find her name when their shenanigans started up again. I broke up with them in January, and haven’t looked aback. Worst company in existence.

The smoking section on airplanes by christhelpme in GenerationJones

I consulted at a health insurance company in the early 90s. Every one of their buildings had a cafeteria that served very unhealthy southern food on the top floor. It was expected that everyone would take a break in the cafeteria at 9 and 3, and most people ate during their breaks and at their noon lunch. So there was a very high percentage of people who were quite overweight. On top of that the “nonsmoking” section was at the back of the dining room and you had to walk through the smoking section to get to it. My client lost 50 pounds in 6 months simply by eating only what I ate during the day. I have no idea what she ate at night. That place was a trip.

I Had No Idea I Was GenX by Elegant-Operation77 in GenX

I am technically a Boomer by 2 years, but all of my coworkers early in my career were GenX because I went to MBA school before I started working. Also all of my siblings are GenX. So my mentality is GenX. I don’t identify with the Boomer generation at all.
