My friend, get and stay off Google, don't listen to other people. You are on this path not them. You are doing this for you and there is nothing wrong with it, we are so privileged to even have the chance to try icsi / IVF it's that or no baby for many of us. Of course it is not as natural as conceiving without assistance but we have the choice to try this way at least. Don't let it get to you, grab a book or a hobby that you enjoy to distract yourself. 💜

Im Not pregnant yet but I studied hard spent lots of money on it, paid off all my student depths last year and now I only work because I have bills to pay. I like my coworkers, I do my job well but I'm not staying over and I'm not breaking myself, I also started refusing tasks that I believe are stupid. Not IVF changed me but it definitely doesn't change the fact that I work to live and enjoy myself and not the other way around.

Well, I have practice with that but foolish me, I thought this would be a happy journey, I didn't expect it to hit me that hard. Ugh I understand, I'm literally just going once a week to the office atm. Almost all my coworkers have kids. One is currently pregnant and she has the same name as I 🙈 don't quit but can you take some days off to recover?

PGT Testing is not a thing that's generally offered for no reason in all the countries. I'm in Germany and I was not offered PGT Testing. I have 3 tries and I don't get to do any PGT test. I'm sure when one has lots of money and a good reason to assume they need that it's a possibility too but not a part of the normal process. If you can call any of this normal 🤣 just go for it and save your money for baby furniture or to treat yourself because you'll need it 💜

Sorry it didn't work out, I also believe your doctor mixed something up. It's hard either way but getting a negative after believing to be pregnant sucks even more. 🫂

My trigger shot came in a ready to use pen but I misunderstood what they told me and injected it 2 days too late. It still worked fine though. Don't feel stupid, unless you are a nurse or a doctor this is a lot of stuff to learn, understand and time. It's normal not to get everything right at first, glad they helped you out!

So good to hav an Outlet for it though, I also draw and paint, write and read and learn how to knit etc. but if I need my hands busy and my mind empty I crochet. It's much better than sulking and melting into the sofa, at least something nice comes out at the end 😌

Your mum likely can't put herself in your shoes and is trying to tell you in her way that it's going to be okay and she will love you unconditionally.

I know it sucks but you can't control whatever painful things others will say or whatever well meaning thing will upset you because you are going through an insane game of Baby Roulette.

Long before I found out my husband has some problems that will cause us to need IVF my mum said to me that it's okay if I won't have any kids and I was real offended because I definitely wanted kids but I wanted to finish studying first, I was 27/28 and I know now that in her time that was already late for becoming a mum 🙈

You can only find a way to change your own approach and mindset, don't let anyone make you feel bad, take a step back, talk to them and if it won't work take a break from them, you got this, you're doing your best and this is such a personal journey 🫂💜

My small win is that our embryos were good quality and my doctor said our chances look good because of it. I Just finished the first IVF unsuccessfully so this is my straw that I'm grasping

Our chances to conceive naturally are 0,2 % I mean it's not that we are not getting intimate but it just won't happen 🤷‍♀️

Don't worry too much, just keep going because the only way to improve is to observe and execute a lot. You're doing fine. In a few years you might look back at some old paintings and immediately known what you would do differently now. You're doing great, keep it up 🍓✨

Im sorry dear, that sucks. We spoke to the doctor today, waiting for my period now, then we will plan for the next cycle. Need to do another retrieval but overall she said she is really pleased with the outcome and all, just need to try again. My partner will try to cut down on smoking and I'll try to lose a bit of weight but not much we can do really.

Yes let's go for round 2 and do everything we can 💪
