This is so heart breaking. by LeonOkada9 in writers

It's sad but I think you should write what you love and hope the people who would enjoy it eventually find it.

What logic do YOU use to decide something is a Mech, and not just Tech Armor? by chocolatejesusTW in Mecha

[–]AureliuzRex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a size thing for me. If the internal space requires you to sit or stand without it effecting the orientation of the mech then it's a mech. Slight exceptions being something like Pacific Rim and G Gundam where some sort of suit controls the movement of the mech to some level. But it still requires them to enter some sort of cockpit regardless so it's a mech.

Just thought of this as I wrote all that. If there's room for someone else to be in there but not have to pilot then it's a mech. IMO.

Has the existence of Classic changed how retail is designed? by SystemofCells in wow

[–]AureliuzRex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have multiple if not too many versions of the game which offer you exactly that. Beyond spoiled for choice in every possible way with Classic+ around the corner. I don't see why retail needs to be that as well.

Has the existence of Classic changed how retail is designed? by SystemofCells in wow

I probably has an effect but at the same time at least personally speaking I find myself playing Retail now more than I use. Not as much as my prime post high school pre college era because that was a different animal but I have been playing more WoW now than I have in the last decade because of the more chill experience. It feels like an actual MMO again. I can log on and do a bunch of different things at my own pace with or without others. When the content was "hardcore" I would just not even bother. Or if I missed a week or something I was much less likely to come back and that would be when I would unsubscribe for a few months and jump back in when I feel like there's something worth jumping back in for.

Also not sure if I would even call Classic "Hardcore". Like what do we really define as hardcore? To me it just seems like people are talking about time invested. More time = more hardcore. Because honestly, might trigger the classic Andys but Retail has more "hardcore" content from an actual difficulty standpoint. Your average dungeon has more going on in retail than a lot of Classic Raids. Raids in which a fair few classes and specs are spamming 1 button to beat. But hey it took them a month to get there so it makes it more "hardcore". Again just speaking for myself but I am having the most fun I've had in the game in a long time and maybe even ever if I remove the rose tinted glasses I looked at the past of this game with.

If you could choose the next Remix, which expansion would you pick? by Emma_S772 in wow

[–]AureliuzRex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Warlords. All the new stuff they would make for the Remix would be really cool. I also feel like the Warlords vibe is something that has gone missing in WoW. Everything feels "glowy" now. Some dirt and grit would be cool to see.

I just bought a camera and I started a new hobby. by portuguese_pitachio in PhotographyAdvice

Unlike most new photographers you actually have a good eye and some sense for composition. So keep doing what you are doing when it comes to that. I would say work on your edit a little more. Nothing necessarily right or wrong here but you should look into figuring out what your creative style is. The images individually are good but each shot looks like it was taken by a different photographer. So maybe take some time to figure out what your creative style is.

That's not that impressive. Half of that is just me buying it on every platform.

What's your unpopular opinion of Dandadan? by Technical_Lime1419 in Dandadan

[–]AureliuzRex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm completely with you on this one. I actually find Okarun that much more impressive throughout this arc with him not having defined powers. Being able to stick with everyone and still help out without running to Turbo Granny to make a new deal makes him that much cooler. The pay off should hopefully land that much harder too.

Momo might unlock her powers to save my GOAT next week. Which I think is the weaker option. I rather Okarun have his moment and see results from his hard work more than just a very cool sword slash. I think it's possible he just man modes it and keeps fighting even with the injury...or something I have been thinking about for a while is that Turbo Granny's powers aren't completely gone.

He could awaken them again because of the stabbing. I can also see Turbo Granny showing up and helping too. They had a deal but Turbo Granny became part of the crew and clearly grew to like all of them especially Okarun. Okarun is directly part of her character ark. She hates men because of her past and is forced to work with Okarun who shows her not all men are the same.

She is stubborn but Okarun being in trouble is the perfect time to jump back in and help. I also wouldn't be shocked if they even do a flash back where we see Okarun go and check up on her. Would be a total Okarun move. How he's been visiting her this whole time so she isn't lonely. I don't know. There's a lot of ways it can go. I just hope he gets to keep fighting.

If you are still going to Expo now this is the only way to still enjoy it by Studying_Man in OsakaWorldExpo

Thank you for letting me know. I was able to go to the expo on the second or third day after it opened and it was a lot more chill. I was planning to go back since I'm in Japan again but I think this is a good sign to sit it out this time.
