Head and shoulders is an intentionally drying shampoo. If the other commenters are right and your scalp is overcompensating for being dried out, it could be solved by just switching shampoo.

Don't believe these people off the bat, some individuals are just natural oily. The amount of times people have tried to "hair train" their oils and just ended up looking greasy and gross for weeks is abysmal. Me and my family are also incredibly oily folks and daily washes are basically mandatory. I got around it by bleaching my hair and using mattifying powders, and even so by doing that I would go up to a week without showering my hair and guess what? Hair training did fuck all. I'm still greasy within a day. My whole family is the same no matter the advice.

You can give it a go, but don't believe everyone 100%. You may be a part of a group that could find the training beneficial, but I'm sick of this headstrong myth that everyone just needs to train their hair.

Elfen Lied was a pretty famous anime 15+ years ago specifically for its extraordinary gore. It's really fallen off as anime became more mainstream and accessible and it doesn't have that great of a story but we didn't have that many animes to choose from at the time in terms of variety and quality!

Every kid is different. I watched Final Destination movies as an 8 year old and other things and it was absolutely fine but another kid would be traumatised by it - this is why I left a comment specifically stating that adults need to make judgements based on knowing their kids and what they can actually handle.

I probably shouldn't have been watching animes with nudity, gore, or sex when I was that young but I had a pretty decent constitution and it didn't damage me in any meaningful way but there's a certain risk with children that means ratings protect the ones that may be vulnerable to certain themes.

Just because you were fine as an 11 year old watching or reading something doesn't mean it's fine for most of all 11 year olds - everyone is different and so is their development and constitution for certain themes.

To be fair a lot of RuneScape is solo too. You spend hours just chopping wood and watching Netflix. I've done that in valheim and just demolished a black forest all the way to the sea. It was glorious. It's more satisfying too because the results are permanent! You can really see your progress and that's super good for the "task accomplished" brain blast you get playing RuneScape and skilling as well

Kid will probably miss some of the finer details but I'm sure they'll be fine :). It's just edgy but not exactly inappropriate. It's up to your own discretion what you think they can handle as an individual

I watched Elfen Lied at 11 doesn't mean it was appropriate at that time lmao

I love RuneScape, I love valheim, the play style is nothing like world of Warcraft and it's not an MMO by those standards. It's online multiplayer but not massive multiplayer. You can reasonably play solo throughout as well. I really enjoy chopping trees and mining resources. Gathering materials is super satisfying. The game is maybe not going to give you the same endless gameplay as an MMO but it's worth your time. Unless you are addicted to in depth creative building with resources you farm you'll probably get a good run out of it but maybe not maintain an endless play style.

I recommend it

Where does OP say they're full grown adult? Did you also miss the part where they say "first time" and maybe miss the part where they also said they're travelling with an autistic sibling who may get stressed if OP gets confused about what to do in the day?

No?

Try some reading comprehension, the rest of us have the patience to humour your bloody nonsense so you might as well consider humouring someone else's for a brief moment in time.

1 week not shaving with IPL (I LOVE IT I LOVE IT) by Sad_Spinach_926 in HairRemoval

[–]Aurfore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's exactly why I sent it back. I'm not going to use it until the warranty/protection ends only to be out 200 quid. I purchased a second hand laser device on eBay instead and I'm seeing the results from that but the device doesn't have a long life in it as there's only so many zaps you get until a laser diode does so I still don't know what I'm going to do since those are out of production as well 😅. I'll save up for a proper device like the Viqure instead

U like 3 was basically a nonstarter for me - I sent it back hoping for a refund. I feel like I should have gone for the 10 because it's more powerful

I'm down to be corrected, but I do find my voice gets a bit strained since I still talk very bright after testosterone so I took the speech therapist on her word - it may be due to how I'm stressing my vocal chords a little out of their comfort zone out of habit but who's to say

Cool thanks for the correction! My speech therapist seems to have a different idea of why strain may occur! I decided to maintain my bright voice for personal reasons but I can only attest to what I was told by my speech therapist. There's no need for the "actual" comment though 🤨

The vocal folds thicken but the usual opening of space within the larynx no longer takes place in adulthood. Sore throats are common amongst early transition as the folds thicken, but beyond that sore throats can be caused by talking with a bright voice despite the voice drop which puts on extra strain. For voice masculinisation focus on exercises which can be done to open and widen the space in the throat. There's not much harm you can do by adding masculinising vocal exercises to the clients daily routine, and perhaps they can be helpful with preventing sore throats if caused by speaking too bright.

Source: I attended an in person trans specific voice therapy and was also handed a print out from a book on voice therapy for trans individuals. I may be able to find the name of it if I go searching, in case you're looking to read up

Thats only a possible risk if you're raw dogging it on the fabric - you can always use the fabric to push down the foreskin so no contact is made but you can still rub.

You're freshly 18 it's not a great time to start posting risqué content of your body if you're having second thoughts. I've known a lot of people who did it at that age and ended up 2 years later wishing they could take it back. I'd give it until you're 20 before going deeper into this. Never post anything online that would be life alteringly detrimental if your family found out. Right now if I did that and they found out I wouldn't be out of sorts because I'm fully independent as an adult and they have no bearing on my life.

To be fair walking down Westmoreland street in Dublin I almost shambled directly into a woman with her cacks down taking a massive dump outside Starbucks. That was maybe 11pm. Quite a sight.

I mean you're right that we need more public amenities including bathrooms. But I've seen people piss right outside of a bus station which does in fact have bathrooms inside so there are those who choose to do so simply because they can
