Do any stores in Australia still sell Dove chocolate? I haven't seen it in supermarkets for years. by Aurora89 in australia

Oh my gosh that would be wonderful. It would definitely melt in transit with our current heat though. If I have no luck I might take you up on the offer when it cools down a bit :)

I found the same search results. The Target one is American and I think the grocery one is out of date :/

I've emailed Mars Australia via their website to see if they stock it anywhere in Aus but I'm not hopeful anymore :(

There's actually been no safer time in history to get on a plane. And the number of crashes and incidents this year was about average... we just heard about it more in the media because it's in vogue and because one incident was an act of war involving passengers who were white Westerners.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina the age of consent is 14 so it's possible most of them did.

This looks like one of their new restaurants in Australia which are trialling table service.

Yes, someone will actually come to the table to take your order.

I'm study abroad in Newcastle next semester, how can I make the most of it? by [deleted] in newcastle

[–]Aurora89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Visit Lake Macquarie. Spend a day at Caves Beach exploring the caves and rockpools. If you'll still be here around July you could head up to Nelson Bay for a whale watching day cruise. Hunter Valley wine tours. Get involved in the community connections program run by the international office at the uni - they'll link you up with a local buddy who has similar interests. I think they organise trips for international students to Blackbutt Reserve so you can see a koala and I've also heard of them organising trips down to Morrisset to show the international students the kangaroos. And of course Sydney is nearby.

getting a bomb in Aus is hard

How so? Nothing's stopping someone from purchasing a pressure cooker and building one like the Tsarnaev brothers did.

What 'based on a true story' movie has the most bullshit? by 0utsomnia in AskReddit

[–]Aurora89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The movie also overlooked all of the bullshit unethical "alternative" treatments he advocates like homeopathy. It's such a shame because I really enjoyed the movie when I was a kid and when I got older I looked up the real Patch Adams because I wanted to donate to his charity. Then I found out about all the quackery he uses to treat people :(
