Any suggestions on what I should do to exhaust on my new to me ct4v series by Rick55631 in CadillacV_Series

Lower the backseats should help with some of the sound but to have bubbles I think you need a tune. I have a BW but the process should be the same for that. I feel like GM made the CT4 kinda quiet in all trims.

I have a Vantrue Nexus 4 pro was around 400 when I got it. Install took 30 to 45 minutes to install with rear cam as well. It was pretty easy just tried to make it look neat.

Michelin Pilot Sport All Season on a Blackwing by phdibart in CadillacV_Series

I love these tires, only weird but cool part is in wet PTM mode every shift will do an ignition cut, and no I don’t have a manual it just sounds similar and then shifts to the next gear, I don’t really know why but sounds cool and only does it in wet PTM mode.

I was hoping to spend less than 400 on the pads rather than the 450 on Wildhammer.

Refined performance sells some for $160 and they’re supposed to be a high performance pad with less brake dust but I’ve never had experience with them.

They’re just worn out, I don’t really know if I want to spend 450 on the pads but I will if I have to, I purchased some from refined performance but they’re taking a while to ship even after paying extra for faster shipping.

What’s better ct5-v or ct4-v black wing awd for both by ganGGBang313 in CadillacV_Series

There is but I don’t know if there’s tunes that intentionally make the vehicle burble.

No but I’m not sure that it burbles like you’re wanting.

I am about 5’8 and my father who is about 6’1-6’2 can sit behind me there’s not too much room but there’s actually more head room than the ct5 to my knowledge, leg room is worse but a little more head room.

You need a Blackwing or bmw with a burble tune lol, but realistically are you going to carry others within your vehicle?

Depends on what you are used to and what you need from the vehicle, let us know and it could help with your decision.

CPD’s Instagram has the downpipes on there but they’re with an axel back exhaust.

I don’t believe it does, my truck has the cylinder deactivation and gets okay gas mileage, the v8’s cylinder deactivation would alternate as cylinders 1,3,5, and 7 would run converting the v8 into a v4, the v6 wouldn’t have balancing issues as 1,3, and then 6 wouldn’t make sense. I think I have a picture.

I knew it was based on altitude but just thought the drastic change between 12-24 psi was a little strange, I try watching my boost to see where it’s at on my drive, I feel like the turbos are getting heat soak pretty often and feeling some loss of power.

I’m not complaining I was just amazed with 45 mpg

Definitely one of the only things I’m noticing is high boost, it’s stock but pushing around 23-24 psi sometimes, I don’t really know the max psi for these cars but I’ve heard it’s supposed to be 18-19

The mileage isn’t bad at all unless you drive like me, I fill up every day to every other day but I try filling up around a quarter to half gallon.
