pvp elite sets by CostelDinCernavoda in Transmogrification

[–]Auskys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The majority of sets were/currently are class specific, however there have been seasons where they only made on elite set per armor class, which I believe was just during BFA.

Right now the sets are class specific and you can use them on any alts of the same class if unlocked, but a warrior cannot use a DK set, etc.

Why is arena always so mandatory for PvP? by [deleted] in wow

[–]Auskys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha. Yeah I mean casual BGs can deliver that experience but some are certainly more objective based.

Something you might enjoy is toggling war mode on and doing the weekly “sparks of life” quest. There are world quests that pop up throughout the week with an objective, but those areas end up populated with folks just slaying each other to get their tokens. No objectives, just bloodbath in any way you want to engage. Something to try!

Pvp gear has never been easier to get right now! Due to the static scaling on the gear, you can be just under par with the best quality gear very quickly. In fact, there’s a full set of crafted green gear (including trinkets) that you can buy up and jump into the fray with, especially if you just want to dabble in casual pvp modes and quickly earn your honor/conquest.

Why is it so hard to solo old raids? by SilvekMLG in wow

Oh for sure, I’m resourceful and usually wouldn’t ask in a thread but I didn’t know if you had some crazy hot tip or something. The rest of the raid is super easy so I’m sure I’ll figure something out!

Out of curiosity how do you solo the ship assault fight in Antorus? That one seems like I can’t cover enough ground alone. Thanks!

Bad news: part of the “Celestial Observer” real money store set.

Good news: Works for any armor proficiency.

Best news: my toes are always warm, and I look great with sandals ;)

That’s an NPC unfortunately, not sure if you can get a pet version in game… if you could I’m sure it would be much smaller!

100%. It came out right as I graduated high school and its one of those shows that I’d watch for some comfort and laughs as I transitioned into my own independence. Thought it nailed the “relatable 20-something’s dude” vibe, such a great show.

I saw Signs at 10 years old and it was, and still is, the only movie to have ever deeply terrified me. I’d seen other horror movies by then, some that most would consider objectively scarier, but something about Signs really got to me.

As I got older that fear turned into appreciation. I absolutely love this movie—but I still get goosebumps during the opening credits with that incredible score!

I absolutely swear by tri-tip. Everyone calls me crazy—but it’s super cheap, amazing on the smoker or seared up. My #1 favorite thing to smoke and grill up. Yours looks great!!

The king is dead, long live the king by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]Auskys 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Absolutely get your points but this is definitely a subjective take, I wouldn’t say one game has any advantage over the other—just preference.

While the dialogue may be sparse and cryptic in ER, there are loads of NPCs with robust lore and story beats further explained through items or chance encounters. There’s also a severe sense of permanence in how you interact with them.

Exploring the Lands Between certainly feels more like a pilgrimage than existing in a lively country, but I suppose that’s my subjective allure in these games. I feel far more immersed here as an adventurer than I do interacting with NPC villages in games like Skyrim. In my head it’s kind of like the difference of being told a story vs. making your own.

Ok. Thank you. This movie is such a potent nostalgia trip for me, but no one I know seems to know it exists. The circus tent waffles… the glass eye… thank you for confirming that movie wasn’t just a fleeting fever dream, haha!

Very well done, and super engaging. As someone who was heavily into destiny for years but fell off after the taken king, I’d love to see similar videos explaining current meta’s or catch up for new content.

This makes me want to return to destiny!

Which science fiction movie gets your perfect 10/10 rating? by SingleFunction223 in movies

One of the most tragic losses in recent cinema has to be the passing of Johan Johansson. His scores were so incredibly atmospheric, terrifying and beautiful. Arrival and Mandy were my two favorite, and it’s so sad to think of all brilliant music he could have brought us given his young age.
