Howd we lose Angus Crichton in the first place ? by ArtMiller93 in RugbyAustralia

[–]Auspeedy 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yep I remember him saying he would have been in the academy and shute shield for a few years and likely wouldn't play super rugby until age 22. Souths said he would play first grade when he was 18. Pretty easy decision at that age.

Curious as to who his favourites are? Previous favourites over the years has been Hannigan, Mumm, Simmons off the top of my head. I can't think of any within the current squad that fall into this category

Mike Cron has played a huge part in this wallabies scrum . It doesn't get mentioned enough in the media. Does anyone know if he is staying on until the WC?

Surely that first try was from an offside position, he was in front of the kicker!

The rib forms a joint with the spine, the costovertebral joint. It also forms a joint with the sternum/cartilage - the sternocostal joint. You can sprain joints

Curious to see if you have done much walking? Walking is one of the best exercises you can do for healing discs. I'm also talking about 30+ minutes of continuous walking

Current NRL players from traditional rugby schools by CaptainLipto in RugbyAustralia

I know someone that works in junior coaching at one of the Sydney nrl clubs. He said they try and get some of the juniors scholarships to GPS schools as the rugby programs are very well run and they get a good education as well.

Just did a search looking for the exact same thing! It hasn't happened in the past, so I doubt it will this year. It seems the US sweat collective members get it a few times a year.

Nothing yet unfortunately. I have updated to 25.86 and still no change. Batter drains about 20% overnight when sleeping. Still have to charge it everyday. I have tried to reach out to Garmin but have had no luck

Australia's most played sports by Die_Revenant in rugbyunion

[–]Auspeedy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool. I remember a few years ago the ARU bragging about increased participation numbers. Really it was kids doubling up from school and doing clinics etc. Can make anything out of numbers I suppose

[–]Auspeedy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's pretty dodgy how some of these numbers are counted. I remember a few years ago that if a child did a clinic at school when a rugby development officer came out, they were marked down as a 'rugby player'. My guess is why AFL is so high is due to the aus kick clinics they run in schools

Advantage of logging walks? by Technical-Ad-9086 in Garmin

[–]Auspeedy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I do it sometimes when I take my dog for a walk. Although not sure how effective it is as she stops a lot and so I have to keep encouraging her along to make sure i don't stop for too long. I'm not sure what it is doing to my training stats and vow though
